My Morning Lover (Sorry, Not Sorry)
The media could not be loaded. This little Nespresso machine is an absolute gem! Sleek, compact, and totally on point—it’s like the barista of my dreams moved into my kitchen and set up shop. Every morning, it delivers a chef’s kiss espresso that’s hot, creamy, and just the right amount of bold. No drama, no guessing—just delicious, steamy perfection in a cup, every single time. It's the MVP of my morning routine. Grazie mille to Nespresso, Breville, and Amazon for making my caffeine dreams come true!

Quick and Cost effective way to make expresso with no compromise
Three things I like about this and this may help your decision making,1. Compact2. Quick3. Flavorful (Either Nespresso pods or Peets Pods)To get more out of the pods use this way! There are 2 settings.1. Dispensing a shot and2. dispensing 3 times the volume of a shot.I use Option 1 First and Option 2. immediately after 1. is completed. You get the worth of each pod.Enjoy! This will never disappoint you. Far easier to make a coffee or expresso than any other machine out there.Easy to clean too.I press the

Easy to use, gives me the perfect cup every time, I love it!
I got a different machine for Christmas from my husband, and after having nothing but problems with it, I ordered this one instead and returned the other one. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this after the horrible experience I had with the other machine I tried. It's night and day. This one worked perfectly out of the box, no strange smells or off gassing or chemical tasting water. I did a few runs through of water and then popped in a pod and it was so much creamier with more froth than the other machine. It exceeded my expectations in how great it was in comparison.Perhaps my opinion is tainted a bit by the nightmare machine that we got first, but I am SO happy that the Pixie was the replacement I got. I use it every day, sometimes a few times. We tried to save a bit and go with an off brand and it was a huge mistake. The Pixie was my first choice all along and I wish I'd have just saved the time to begin with.

Unfortunately leaked water...
My old Nespresso maker (a larger more expensive model that was a wedding present) was unfortunately fried by some electrical issues with the city. I remember having used a Pixie at an agency I freelanced with and loved it. It's such a great size for smaller areas and still makes a mean espresso. But remember it only does espresso so I'd end up pressing it twice to essentially make an Americano if I didn't want just one shot.I plugged it in and rand the hot water cycle as it instructed. I walked away for a minute because it's kind of a long process and there was water spilling out from the back. I could see no visible cracks and I definitely had the reservoir on correctly. I understand these may be isolated incidents but I did see reviews that reported the same and just ignored them. So this was maybe just another defunct machine (also the tape on the box was cut, almost as if it were a return even though I bought it "new").I returned it and sprang for the large DeLonghi, a newer version of the older one I had and it's way worth it. You can only use the Vertuo pods but the coffee and espresso from the automatic machine just can't be beat. Ive noticed companies have finally made reusable pods for the vertuoline. Nespresso pods are probably the best but I'm curious to make a comparison in order to limit waste.

Last Century Relic
It does deliver decent coffee, so it gets 4 stars. But it is certainly a relic in a modern kitchen, and the initial make quality is surprisingly low for a piece that comes with a "Made in Switzerland" label. The wire storage at the bottom literally cuts the insulation when adjusting the length as the opening is too small and has no common rubber protection piece. The empty capsule receiver also has a dangerously sharp edge inside. The biggest issue is the absence of any visible clue whether the capsule in the machine is fresh or not, so when making coffee, you have to focus and execute the sequence attentively. Otherwise, you either forget to replace the capsule between pouring subsequent cups or discard a good capsule when interrupted by a phone call while waiting for the machine to warm up. The whole idea of the warm-up being a separate step is also very outdated. Why not just press the button and have the machine warm up if it needs to and then immediately pour? The startup manual that comes with the machine is outright confusing - watch a video, save yourself time, and avoid frustration.Another issue - you have to run it with no capsule often to keep the output clean. Not to mention that the size of the produced cup varies quite noticeably for no apparent reason other than likely an archaic measuring technology.Unfortunately, this is a situation when I have to adjust to this relic and keep using it till the coffee maker industry comes up with something more modern for a reasonable price. May not happen anytime soon.

Awesome
I love this machine. Got it on a great deal from the Treasure Truck. Wasn't sure what to expect as it was an impulse buy for a luxury espresso maker. I normally would drink strong drip coffee or French Press on the weekends. Now I do a double shot with a shot of water. I love it. The machine has a very slight signature so it fits well in my small kitchen. It looks as good as it works and friends have noticed it (and wanted to use it).It is a joy to use. Very easy and it is fast. Many say it is too loud. It makes noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. From the reviews I thought it was sound like a train rolling through my kitchen. It is nothing of the sort, it hums and vibrates as it makes those wonderful espressos. If you are looking for a Nespresso or espresso machine you really can't go wrong with this one. I love it. It has made my drip coffee machine feel lonely a dejected.
