Intercomp(360060 4" 60 PSI Glow Air Pressure Gauge

I have become tired of the cheap $5 junk tire gauges in the stores today for car tires. For something so important as tire pressure for safety, performance, and wear, it makes no sense to rely on these I reliable devices that can’t even seal when checking air pressure. So I searched some time and found this product. It’s a very high quality build and really like the outer rubber bumper protection, incredibly easy to read and use, seals every time on the car air stem when measuring. This is a very large gauge, larger than my hand so make sure you are aware of that. I like the size, very easy to read. I didn’t miss a swivel one bit, the hose is long and unit large so you can easily read the air pressure from any angle. Also a swivel isn’t always an advantage, it is another joint that can leak if it fails. The gauge is super stable and accurate, it matches other gauges I had. Very happy with the purchase.

I picked this up because I wanted to be able to accurately set the tire pressures on my motorcycle. The 0-60 psi range is perfect for what I'm doing (my pressures are right in the middle of this range) and the 4" dial makes it easy to see 1 psi increments.The chuck is a brass piece that is low profile, which is nice when working around sprockets and brake rotors. The push button works well for bleeding off excess pressure. The needle takes just a second to settle when you stop bleeding off air (it bounces a bit) but that's to be expected. If it was a big deal, I would have spent the extra few bucks on a liquid filled gauge.I have not compared this to another gauge to check the calibration. I have other Intercomp products that have been both accurate and high quality, so I'm assuming this gauge is the same.

My first sample of this product took pressure readings but couldn't hold the reading. I sent it back and asked for another one to be sent. The second one didn't work at all -- no reading at all, or at best a feeble partial reading. I'll not order another one. I have other tire pressure gauges, and they work fine. This gauge is top rated by Consumer Reports, looks gorgeous, but my two samples just didn't work. Thankfully, Amazon's return policy made it easy to return. Caveat Emptor

Large, glow in the dark gauge is super easy to read. The rubberized shell means you can be a little careless in setting in down on the floor, or elsewhere. I find the bleeder valve especially handy since I often park my cars with higher than recommended tire pressure. When I need to bleed the air out to the correct pressure, this gauge really comes in handy.Highly recommended if you're a petrolhead, or simply has a few cars in the garage and would like to maintain correct tire pressure at home.

Easy to use. Large easy to read gauge and air pressure scale markings. I like the fact that you can overinflate your tire slightly, place the pressure gauge fitting on the valve stem, and without removing the gauge, bleed off air until you reach desired pressure. Perfect tire pressure every time.

have 4 tire guage. very accurate excellent, made well, highly recommend

This is a monster - a fine gauge, and it appears to be accurate. It does not have a hold valve, but the needle is absolutely steady, making it easy to see the reading.The main problems for me are (1) the lack of swivel at the valve end - this means I am always fighting with the hose to get the nozzle in place; and (2) Intercomp don't seem to offer an angled nozzle for their analogue gauges. [Replacement nozzle INT-625007 is for digital gages].Having said that, the gauge is not difficult to use, and IS very easy to read - the dial is very clear and the glow-in-the-dark is effective.I was thinking of replacing it with the Joe's Racing 2 1/2 model with the hold valve - it costs less, has a hold and bleeder valve, and the swivel is at the valve end, not at the dial. But the Intercomp inspires confidence, and I recommend it.
