I bought this wall clock to replace one made by a competitor, Equity. The other clock went haywire after a few months. It would stop running periodically. When it did run, it would use up its battery quickly. The company offers a worthless two-year warranty. I say worthless because the company expected me to pay for shipping both ways. With current postal rates, it was cheaper to buy a replacement. That's what I did. I held off writing a review of this clock until I let it run for a month. It operates silently as claimed by the seller. It uses one AA alkaline battery, so there's no need to buy zinc carbon ones to power it. Overall, I am pleased with it.

I've bought a few of these for around my house, and each one of them after about a week started making loud ticking noises as the second hand moves around the clock. Not a single one of them is silent.As a plus side though, a couple of them have fallen off the walls repeatedly (from our extremely heavy storm doors slamming shut and shaking the walls) and only 1 has broken. Another one in the bathroom worked for 3 years while utterly corroded from the humidity.So they are sturdy.. but loud. I'll take it.

By the time my 25 year old clock that I bought for five dollars from a discount bin at the grocery store stopped working, it had taught me to never buy an expensive clock. It had kept time with an accuracy of plus/minus one second a day. So, looking at several choices, I bought this AKCISOT, and synchronized it with my atomic watch. Fifteen days later, it is 3 seconds out of sync with my atomic watch...about one second a week...which is a lot better than a $5000 Rolex chronometer that "guarantees" accuracy of plus/minus two seconds a day. And the smooth movement of the second hand as it glides over the dial looks just beautiful. A very good deal by any measure.

It's hanging on the wall mirror in my bathroom & keeps me moving through my ablutions as I get ready in the mornings. Despite it being hung up on the mirror with the pressure sticky doobermajobees, it's silent, accurate, & easy to see. Wherever you use it, it comes exactly as advertised. Definitely recommend this clock!

White numbers and white hands against a black dial make this clock extremely easy to see (except in complete darkness). After using for a week, the time remains accurate. The clock is quiet - I can only hear it in total silence and if my ear is within a few inches. The clock "sound" is NOT ticking, but is of a gear contantly turning something. So far, a good purchase. Will update if things change for the worse.

We had to replace a clock that fell off the wall and the glass broke. This replacement has a plastic window. It is lightweight, easy to read and is a great replacement.

Bought this to replace a similar smaller version of this clock. Works the same. I like it better in that the numbers are larger and easier to see.

I bought two because my finicky children (30’s) were giving me crap about the clocks not matching. They’re silent!

In the man cave, the white numbers add an extra pop on the black background. Easy to read. Very happy with the purchase.
