OXO Good Grips Grilling Cold Clean Grill Brush

I use this for my pellet grill and it gets the job done. I’ve been using this for several months and it’s held up quite well. I really like the scraper on top for removing burned on food. This is only intended for use when the grill is cool or not in use.

It was great. Cleaned exactly as I expected

This works great cleans the grill, the nylon bristles are strong enough to the job done. Anything harder I use the metal scraper. I have been using this for months with not issues and still going strong on original head. All the negative reviews about it melting are people can't read, it says use when grill is COLD. I use before I light the grill to clean it off from the last cook, no more worries about metal bristles on the grill.

I stopped using the wire brushes on my grill and started using the nylon ones … a friend of mine used the wire brush and a wire fragment stuck inside his throat! This is a great brush and I highly recommend it!

I decided to retire my metal brush. This one works just as well if not better. I can remove the head and wash it in the dishwasher.

It comes apart easily for cleaning

I decided to be safe and not risk a family member ingesting a metal wire from a wire grill brush so I bought this OXO grill brush. I had to change my entire approach to grill cleaning. With a metal wire brush you can preheat the grill and then clean it. With this one, you have to remember to leave the heat on AFTER you grill to cook off the drippings etc. and then brush it after it cools down. It takes a LOT longer than a metal wire brush and still doesn't get as much stuff off. It's worth it for the safety factor but I'm still wishing for something better.
