Fairly easy to install if you're familiar with electronics. The wiring diagrams are accurate. Took a minute to understand how to program the fobs and cards if you have never done it before on any other aystem. Once it's all up and running you just enter the programming mode, assign the key fobs or cards, and hand them out to who you want to get access.

First looks it’s high quality and well made.The wiring video was not exactly accurate but with a bit of googling got it set up in no time.Magnet strength is very strong takes a lot to break the door from the magnet.Also would definitely recommend to get a backup battery just In case of power outages.

Rather than including hard to read instruction booklets which often seem printed on minuscule scraps of paper in suboptimal fonts, the vendor's listing offers two videos. The first shows how all the components fit together and how they should be installed. This is so effective I do not know why other sellers don't do the same. It made connecting everything very simple and everything worked first time. The second video shows how to program and deprogram the blue dongles which caused the magnetic catch to unlatch.By mounting the RFID reader which causes the lock to unlatch In a discreet or even casually undetectable position extra obfuscation is added to the security of the door. Only those issued with tags know where to place them to open the door and this can be arranged so that it seems like a casual movement rather than something deliberate. Inside the secured room the principal components are the power supply to the latch. This is contained in a neat metal box with a rechargeable battery so that the lock will remain secured in case of power failure. I was astonished by how little current is required to maintain the magnetic catch.From the user's point of view the most important thing is probably the button that will open the latch from the inside. In addition to this there is a green plastic emergency switch which mechanically cuts off power to the latch so that no matter what electronic failure there might be the door can be opened in an emergency.The system has been in use for a week now. It was a DIY installation and has proved faultless in operation. We are absolutely delighted.

I've had this product installed just over a week and I've had two key fobs fail and stop working already. Wouldn't advise.

SecureMyDoor - Full Door Entry Kit.This goes without saying that it is a very comprehensive kit for your entry security.Whilst some DIY skill is required, the included instructions should get you by, but there are also video instructions from the manufacturer on the popular video sharing website .Once installed regardless of situation or location, one thing you have to remember is that unless you have a backup generator that will take over instantly in the event of a power cut, then you will be unprotected in this event.As this requires permanent electrical supply to activate the magnet, no electric, no magnet.You have been warned and notified.But as a power cut is a rarity is it really a concern?This is still a very good kit and is worthy of its use.Somewhat over priced in my opinion though.3 stars ✨ due to the whole needing uninterrupted electric to work proerly.

You may need help from a professional to install it properly and it is best if wired into permanent power although it does come with a backup power supply which is a nice touch.Overall, if you want to add security to a door, this kit is great.

Despite this, it’s a complete and effective security solution for the small or home office. Note that it is for internal access points.
