It works, good price, speedy delivery
I usually prefer a 100% titanium watch like the Citizen eco drive but I decided on this because of its features, cost and that the bright yellow was better for scuba diving and canoe slalom. It all works, using an app to set it up and alter to different locations ( I live in UK but I'm in Bali just now) took a moment to get used to but as I said...it all works. It's been down to 35m (4.5 atm/bar) and is fine. Very happy so far

Buy this watch!
What a great watch. Perfect for everyday use, no matter if youβre in the office or climbing a mountain. The connection to the app makes setting time and other settings a breeze, and the colour really pops. On top of that, priced extremely reasonably, especially if you can find it on sale. Cannot recommend enough, Casio have outdone themselves yet again.

Casio hits the spot yet again.π
G-Shocks are something of a "Marmite" thing in the watch enthusiast community, but like them or loathe them, their place(s) in many collections is(are) justified in my view, so excuse me if this review appears somewhat subjective. That said, if I have moans about an item, they will be listed along with the good points. Onwards...The good bits:This watch is yellow, very yellow! It's also nowhere near as fat as some older G-Shocks and wears very well for a watch whose case size ought to look like a dinner plate on my tiny wrist. Yet it fits every bit as well thanks to the many adjustment holes in its (yellow) two piece strap. The wrist in the attached images has a circumference of a mere 5β inches yet, thanks to the strap heading downwards from the case - a common thing among larger Gs made even more versatile here by the strap's use of quick release spring bars, though a general purpose aftermarket strap would need to be approximately 14mm wide and would lack the visual flow of the factory's stepped strap design, which flares out to match the attachment points on the watch case.Given how much adjustment is available here, even a thick wristed man could find this just as comfortable as I, a skinny wristed woman, do.The buckle appears at first glance to be the plastic type found on some more budget oriented Casios, but no, it is made from a nicely finished - no sharp edges here - piece of stainless steel. Then we come to what it does:This watch has the Bluetooth facility so that the time can be synchronised with your smartphone, tablet, etc. I find this to be more useful for making settings adjustments as the paired device will have a much larger display than the G's digital area, bottom right of the dial.I deliberately avoided letting the watch connect to my phone for two weeks after the initial pairing and setup. Unsurprisingly, the watch remained accurate as most of the range will when left to their own regulation of the time displayed.OK, so I admit that I like most G-Shocks though for me, the resin case is a large part of the appeal and a factor in the brand's legendary resistance to damage, but if the buyer were thinking of modifying their G's appearance by fitting one of the many "upgrade" kits available these days, I would tread carefully and perhaps read my review of how such a mod went when I bought a kit.Best advice; if you must have some metal attached to a light watch whose feel and balance on wrist is a result of its synthetic construction materials, buy one of the Gs that come from the factory with metal cases and straps. Those won't give you a nasty rash, are made beautifully and tend not to feel top heavy.I get the appeal of modifying a watch, but was glad to refit the original plastics to my GA-B2100 after my own less than worthwhile decision to mod the watch. All that experience taught me is that the G-Shock is just right as its maker provided and if I feel the need for a heavy metal experience again, I shall satisfy this urge by listening to a classic AC-DC album at full volume. So what's not so good about the GA-B2100? Sorry folks, but I did say at the start that I may become subjective and OK, so some of us will spend ages looking for some glitch or other, but there really isn't anything that disappoints me about this watch. Sorry there's nothing to report, but buying a watch from the 2100 range is very unlikely to be something you'd regret.I chose the solar one with Bluetooth, and it was on offer at the time, but even at around the typical maximum Β£160 or so, I would have been just as happy with my purchase.End.ππππππ

Great watch and great value
Love this watch. For what you get it's fantastic value. The solar power means very long battery life and the bluetooth connection to the phone means ultra accuracy. I love the colours. If I had any complaint it would be the resin case/strap is quite plasticky. I knew this before purchasing but didn't realise quite how stiff and creaky it would be. It actually squeaks and creaks when you flex your wrist. I've read online this goes away with wear. Ultimately, the value of the watch completely destroys any negatives like the quality of the resin for me. One point, with it being such a bright colour it looks BIG on the wrist. I've got a dark green model of the casioak so same size, etc and it visibly looks smaller on the wrist so just be aware of that if you're thinking of buying the yellow model.

Nice watch
It is a nice watch with Bluetooth connection. Another good point is the auto summer time hour as I am in the UK

Sound Volume is Low - It's Me
I love the technology of this watch and intend to use it when out walking, DIY or on bike route adventures. My expensive watch is too costly to lose if the bracelet mal-functions. The G-Shock has a secure no nonsense strap, the advice is to tighten to point where a finger can be inserted between strap and wrist. I checked this and would say it's extremely unlikely that the G-Shock could fall off accidently.I tested the alarm function and could not hear any sound, so had arranged to return the watch. Before I packaged it for return I set the alarm for my wife to hear. She heard the alarm easily - oh well it's an age thing - the alarm frequency did not register with me. I can't hear cicadas either. So the return was cancelled - that's fine as I do want to keep the watch - the yellow allows easy sight of the five minute points and bright hands.I set the watch in bright sun through a window for about 30 minutes, battery is now fully charged. The watch arrived with a half charge. The use of the Casio Watch mobile app provides simple control over all functions, noted that when selecting a world time a map pops up on the mobile after searching a location. I did drop a star to four as the alarm sound should be louder or different frequency for oldies, yes make it a fog horn.Getting to love the Casioak so bumped up to 5*

'Casioak' has NOT been over-hyped
As it was available at a good price, I finally pulled the trigger on a 'Casioak' and I have not been disappointed.

Casio G Shock
Arrived 4 days early. A nice size for someone who has not got arms the size of tree trunks. Set the watch up via the app and your iPhone Much the easier way and you will also receive any updates. I think setting it up manually might be a nightmare. Itβs operated by a solar battery so no charging or replacing batteries. Apple take note.
