They are trying to sell their other kind where it opens on one side instead of pushing with your thumb on both sides and the 3 rings combine by a peg and hole method rather than the teeth these old school ones (no pun) use.imo these new ones are trash (which is not this product) cuz they try to make it softer to open with 1 side but that means the 3 rings don't push together as hard as these old school ones do making it easier to not align after some use.I regret getting those new ones but this one is good. I bring up the newer ones cause even after buying this they are advertising those new weaker ones but I'm sticking with these.

This binder is for my 10 year old for school. It looks sturdy enough to make it till june. I like that it is easy for him to open and close.

I used this 3” binder to hold a 1300 page Chemistry textbook I printed out, I only put about a 1000 pages (doubled side so it was really almost 600) in it. I knew I would split it between two binders when I purchased this binder. It was perfect

the one i got the top metal circle wouldnt open all the way and wouldnt stay closed all the way either it was broken. i had to force it open the first time and that seemed to have fixed the weird issue.
