great mat, very little slippage during hot yoga

All expectations fulfilled 😊
Wow. All expectations delivered. These towels are special, that's all I can say. And the oversize is perfect for me being a broader shouldered yoga practitioner, and squares up to my pro mat perfectly. The colour is a beautiful deep electric royal blue and the orange pops out vibrantly against it. Delivery was exceptional considering US import, arriving a whole 10 days in advance, and just as I was having my morning tea, which made a great start to my day! Thank you Manduka for making this wonderful yogitoes towel, and thanks Amazon for the super fast international delivery.

Excellent quality material, fully sewn edge to prevent fraying, anti-skid bottom performs great. READ THE DIRECTIONS AND WASH TWICE BEFORE USE, the factory dye and chemicals will create a slightly slippery surface if you do not. Highly recommend wetting the surface periodically with a spray bottle while in use, the grip from a damp tower is far superior to a dry towel.

Didn't move with every transition. I didn't slip not once nor did I slide. I take hot yoga and this is Definitely worth every penny! Best yoga mat towel I have!

I have been practicing hot yoga for years and although I don't like to admit it, I'm one of those heavy sweater types when I practice. Especially on my hands and feet. So you can imagine how frustrating even the most foundational poses would be. Downward dog? Hands constantly slipping forward. Warrior? Never a still back foot. I have tried what seems like every yoga towel out there (YogaRat, Manduka, Gaiam, you name it) and while some were better than others, I could not stay completely grounded on any of them. Until my husband bought me a yogitoes this past Christmas. I added it into my regular rotation and after a few months of day by day comparison with the rest of my towel quiver, I am convinced - this towel is 100% worth the cost. The grippy dots on the underside are just brilliant. Like other towels it's not glued to the mat so it will shift here and there, but those little dots keep my hands and feet exactly where I want them. I seriously love it. I find myself rushing to wash it after practice so I can use it the next day! (It's great quality and washes up really well.) I'll be replacing my other towels with all yogitoes eventually.
