Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hydrating Body Lotion, 8.5 Fl Oz

I first came across this moisture lotion when I was staying at a large hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was in the bathroom and came in a sample size bottle so I tried and loved it. It’s made by Crabtree & Evelyn, a company from the US who sadly, are no longer in operation. I love the scent. It’s clean, fresh and subtle, not flowery or overpowering. When applied after a shower I feel clean and fresh, not heavily perfumed. It is a fairly lightweight moisture lotion so if you’re looking for a heavy, more oily product, this one is not going to do it for you. However, if you prefer a lighter, pleasant smelling moisture lotion, this is definitely a winner. I don’t know how Amazon is able to access this moisture lotion since my research stated it is no longer being made and Crabtree & Evelyn went out of business. I loved every Crabtree & Evelyn perfume, lotion & soap I ever purchased. According to the website I found, the company wasn’t updating their marketing strategy therefore the “younger generation”, the large buying sector, wasn’t buying this brand. They should have done the marketing research to tailor it to the younger set. Too bad because their scents were very lovely. They had a wisteria perfume that was exquisite and their fine milled soaps were unsurpassed, in my opinion. I thought they were a British Company until I researched why I couldn’t find their products in any stores. Luckily, this moisturizer is still available and at a very reasonable price on Amazon. Remember, we each have very different preferences when it comes to scents. I don’t always rely 100% on reviews for that reason. I just happen to love this one and recommend it if you prefer a lightly scented, lighter moisture lotion.

Amazing clean smell and great quality

Smooth, emollient, fresh but not overpowering scent. I bought after Hilton Hotels offer this in their bathrooms. Happy

I was lucky to have worked at two Crabtree and Evelyn stores,one store was at the West Farms Mall in Connecticut and the other store was in a high end shopping center in Rhode Island. I was a Dental Hygienist by day and traded my scrubs for some very beautiful/classic style clothes for working the evening shifts at the each of the store locations . I fell in love with my jobs(even got a 40% employee discount) I loved all the products,every one,they were high quality products and there were faithful customers who returned again and again for these lovely items such as toiletries,lotions,oils, beautiful wreaths,fine grooming products and much more. I had favorites and one such favorite was the LaSource line. There was lotion,body butter,talcum powder, shower gel and even a massaging soap to firm areas with cellulite. This product was and is still very popular and sought out,the lotion still smells clean and light a d is great for moisturizing. I wish the stores were still around but I'm grateful for Amazon carrying so e of the best sellers! Try this,you won't be disappointed,just fyi -the scent is subtle and fresh smelling and it could really be used for men and women in my opinion ⛲💦🗻💦⛲

Scent is mild but pleasant 💕 Applies well and works for 24-48 hours! 😍 I live it!

Just received this today excited to try it. Unfortunately, the pump is not working at all…couldn’t get the lotion to come out.
