Great
If you follow the instructions and use timers as you go, it is actually pretty easy.Make sure you use tepid/ warm water with the purple Mold as it will set quicker.Really happy with results

Waste of money
I bought this to do a couples hand mould with my husband on our 20th wedding anniversary. The mould part was OK. The plaster bit I did exactly what it told me to do. It was thick and lumpy and set within the bowl. We added more water to try and save it and make a runny paste to pour into the mould. The plaster obviously hasn't set and it's ruined. I've bought a different kit before and it was excellent. Don't waste your money.

A nice gift, although it isn't 'quick' or 'easy'
This is a nice gift for your partner or to yourselves as a couple. I'm sure you could also include a third or fourth hand if you have children and make it a gift to the family. The set arrives in a plastic bucket - much like a tub of paint. Everything you need is included inside with fairly detailed instructions.Essentially, you are going to hold hands (or at least have them close together), dunk them into a watery mixture that you've made by following the instructions, pull them out after some time has passed and end up with a mould of your hands. You will then pour another mixture that you've made into this mould and allow it to set. Once you break open the mould, you should have captured the exact shape of your hands.I would say that you shouldn't expect this to be an easy or peaceful process. Once you begin each step, you need to move fast and understand what you're doing (as per the instructions). If you put in too much water, not enough water, wait too long or don't wait long enough there's every chance you'll end up without a cast or at least one with noticeable defects. In complete contrast, there's a long setting time and this will be dependent on your environment and the amount of water you used - so you may end up needing to deviate slightly from the instructions during these stages. It's a really sweet idea and the kind of thing that can sit up on your mantle for years to come if you nail it. Yes it's a little stressful to make if you let it be, but I'd say set your expectations low and just have fun with it! :)

Hand Casting Kit Good BUT Be Quick!
Would be an awesome gift for any couple or even for just a piece of art however it is a little bit tricky and you have to be super quick and do not hang around when casting otherwise it will set too quickly. The plaster can be a tad bit lump but you have to just work with it.
