They are the sharpest and easiest shears I've ever used. With over 15 years in professional kitchens, I've used my fair share of kitchen shears for various projects, and these are by far my favorite. They are very comfortable to hold for long periods of time and they cut through lobster shells like its paper. The knife side is handy on its own for small projects, but it won't replace a trusty paring knife when you need one. But the ability to use it on my diamond steal to get it razor sharp again in seconds is very convenient when it does start to dull after lots of use. I would highly recommend any chef to add these to their knife roll. you won't regret it.

I bought these shears for our kitchen. The shears are very, very nice. Well made, functional, and worth every penny. I am beyond pleased with them. I also received a follow up email from Sakari asking if the shears were to my satisfaction and offering any help if needed, including repairs and returns if there were anything amiss. Company is awesome. So glad I bought from them.

Really sharp and did cut through some neck bones. I had to send them back because the spring popped out and we could not get it back in.They did replace the scissors, and I have not had a chance to use the new pair, so as long as the spring doesn’t pop out there good.

Great tool for cooking. Well constructed and easy to take apart and clean. I like the safety lock to take them apart as my previous kitchen shears did have that and they would come apart easily while using them.

Looks pretty, cuts fine but take it apart and you're left with a useless piece of garbage. Not worth the high price paid AT ALL. Should have bought a less expensive pair of shears and separate knives. Attempted to find a website to get directions on putting them back together. NOTHING. Attempted to find ANY DIRECTIONS anywhere AT ALL on putting them back together. NOTHING. Absolutely behind frustrating.UPDATE:: The middle spring broke and now we have a knife, a useless knife and no scissors. I give this zero stars. 😡

Shears were beautiful, and worked well, for about 6 months. Then the spring gave out, and there is absolutely no way to get a replacement. I tried contacting the company via the email on their site, and received no response at all. As another review stated, they don't have BAD customer service - they have NO customer service of any kind. 6 months in, I'm left with a very nice looking set of non-functional shears. Had to order a new set from another company. Won't order anything from Mitsumoto that has moving parts again. I was even willing to buy a replacement spring if I could get one at a reasonable cost, but there's just no place to get one from. VERY nice product - but lacking terribly in the area of durability.

Excellent kitchen scissors. Perfect for poultry, fish, veggies and herbs. In response to the spring coming out. Yes, it's designed to come out for cleaning. However, this is an easy fix, as there is a hole to insert the prong on the spring into. The solution can easily be Googled by the technologically savvy. There's even foolproof videos on YouTube that walk you through the simple process. No issues at all. They work above and beyond how they should.

Use these for culling quail swift an easy. Clean cut every time. Easy to clean an very sharp.
