Powerful, easy to use, and built to last
This blender is incredibly powerful. Smoothies, sauces, even tough ingredients blend effortlessly. The presets make it really simple to use, and the build quality feels premium and durable.

Holy Grail of Blenders and made in USA!
I am not going to go into the specs as they are already listed. Simply put this is a blender that can do just about anything you want. Key features which sold us on this are as follows. As with all my reviews, I will update this should it develop any issues with ongoing use. Expensive but with everything.... You get what you pay for, -Quality-Durability. -Size. Fits under our counters and looks professional on our countertop. -Blending abilities. We blend smoothies and can thrown in whole cut up apples-seeds and all. Smoothie is silky and those parts of foods you usually do not blend remain giving you even further nutrients. -Has our basic common presets for no fuss. -Has great technology built into it. It has an app, wireless connectivity so you do not need to adjust settings when you use other self detect containers. -Has timer. This is a gem! Once you find your perfect mix, you no longer have to guess at timing or anything. -Note the cord is 4 foot which is a great length. Not too long and not too short like some. Make sure you use this on a dedicated outlet. It draws 12 amps and a typical home outlet is 15 amps for older homes or 20 amps for newer homes. -Metal drive socket. When this wears down you can replace it for cheap and easily! Most kitchen appliances are made so when they break, you have to throw them away. -Does not get hot like some blenders and even has a setting to make warm soups. Yep, it actually warms them up as it blends due to friction technology. -10 Year Warranty although I do not think I will need to use. (Most are only 1 or 2 years.) Note - We have not used this with any other containers. Just the 64 oz one Oh yeah, did I say SELF CLEAN!

Model A2500 is perfect choice!!
I love my Vitamix!! I make smoothies every day. I had been using a Nutri Ninja, but they didn't last but a year so I decided to step up to a Vitamix. Yes it was expensive, but hopefully with a 10 yr warranty, I will be money ahead in the long term. The smoothies are now really smooth; much more so than when made using the Ninja. I was very undecided about which model to buy, but I made the right choice with the A2500. It has the smoothie preset so I can start it and walk away. I use the same selection for cleaning because I know it will stop by itself. And cleaning is so easy. It grinds up anything I've put in it, even makes kale stems smooth in short order. I do like having the digital timer because I can see how much time I've used when blending for recipes. The lid snaps on easily and releases easily. I would recommend this model to anybody. The container size is perfect too.

I never realized there was so much you could do with a great blender until I got one.
I got fat...so I thought it would be good to eat better and try healthy smoothies with vegetables and fruit. I dugout my old blender and found the consistency poor and seeds in my teeth. So I did a lot of research and review reading. I narrowed it down to 5 brands, then 2, then Vitamix. I was really sold on the Professional Series 750 or the new Ascent A3500. I just could not pull the trigger on a $500-$650 blender. The Ascent A2500 has the same 2.2 hp motor, a 10 year warranty, is a fraction shorter than the 750, has a clear lid, a time counter, 3 program settings, and standard controls like the 750. The 750 has been a very popular model. I love the brushed stainless...but that fraction (1/4") keeps it from fitting easily under my cabinets. The older style with the block centering pad does not look as sleek as the new Ascent series. I like the redesigned cooling system for the Ascent series and the 3 extra years for a total of 10 years warranty. That told me Vitamix was banking on the redesign. The Ascent series comes with the 64 oz container and there are additional accessories in the works. The Ascent series has 4 models which all have the same motor, container, warranty, etc. The A2300 has a 10 speed dial, pulse switch, start/stop switch, and digital timer. The A2500 has the same features and adds 3 program settings for smoothies, frozen desserts, and hot soups and adds $50 to the price. The A3300 is the same price as the A2500 but loses the program settings but gains touch start/stop, touch pulse, and a programmable timer (which allows for setting a count down time). The A3500 adds 5 program touch settings and $100 to the price. No matter which one you get, I'll bet you'll love it. A couple of weeks after getting the A2500, I got a wild hair and decided to also get the A3500. They are both awesome and right now I'm enjoying a fantastic frozen margarita.

Boss Blender!
I love this blender! I puree vegetables into soup; threw lots of cooked veggies into the blender but my old KitchenAid couldn't handle it. The Vitamix 2300 pureed it quickly on 'soup' setting, so smooth and delicious. Same with my protein shake. The KitchenAid left pieces of the greens and blackberry seeds. The Vitamix powered right through it on 'smoothie' setting. It is loud, though. When it gets to the higher speeds it sounds like it's going to take off. Worth the money as I'll use it often.

Plant fiber, what plant fiber??
First and foremost this blender is nothing short of AMAZING! It seriously blew my mind. I don’t know about you but product hype often times ruines it for me. I get so excited about a product and then it falls short and doesn’t meet my high expectations. I assure you, that will not happen with this Vitamix! My previous blender was a Nutri bullet and the Vitamix puts it to shame! Before, I had no idea I could blend pomegranate seeds and black berry seeds into a smoothie without a grainy texture. I thought that just came with using fresh fruit, but nope, that’s simply not true—you just need a good blender. It completely pulverizes any and everything I’ve added into a beautifully smooth liquid. I can finally add celery to my juices without having to miserably choke it down. For high fiber fruits/veggies I suggest running the Vitamix on 2 preset smoothie cycles to further break down the fiber and produce silky smooth results. There are several complaints about not being able to make smaller portioned smoothies. I have had 0 trouble making 16 oz smoothies for myself, but for me that’s a single serving smoothie/juice. I think the trick is to add more liquid to a smaller smoothie/juice so the thick plant fiber can continuously move without getting stuck on the sides. When you’re making a smoothie for multiple people you can forgo some of the extra liquid and make a thicker smoothie/juice if you prefer. You’ll have a higher volume of fruit/veggies so it won’t get stuck on the sides as easily because there will be more to move around. The soup setting is amazing. For quick dinners I love adding left over roasted veggies with liquid and some herbs. I set it and boom, a hot dinner in minutes! I didn’t think I’d use that setting but once you experience how awesome it is you’ll be hooked too. Cleanup is a breeze! A drop of dawn, a 1/2 full pitcher of warm water, start the smoothie preset setting, rinse and dry off. It can’t get much easier than that! Once a week I blend water and vinegar to clean and then let it sit for 10 minutes to get rid of any mineral build up on the blades. It works perfectly and it’s super quick. Just clean it immediately after every use and never let a smoothie/juice sit in there and you won’t have any problems cleaning it. If you want a new blender go for this one! It’s worth every single penny!!

The Best Food Processor on the Planet
The Vitamix A2500 is one of those high dollar kitchen products you don't know you need until you own one to see what you are missing. It makes perfect chemical and sugar free natural juice, great soup, dip, and just about anything else you can put in a food processor. Easy to clean, powerful, intuitive controls, great service from the company, lots of recipe's on line at the Vitamix Website - it is all good with the Vitamix. You will not be sorry with this purchase. It is a bit noisy but that is a small consolation for the performance level of the machine - way above average. Margarita's and Whiskey Sours with fresh juice in this thing are just too good. There is a learning curve - but a little practice and you will be making soups and dips with ease. The apple, pineapple, and carrot juice recipes are healthy and great tasting. I purchase mine through Amazon because I am a prime member and saved a few bucks on shipping, etc. Highly recommend this product.

Great blender but not ideal for singles
It's a great blender. I love how it blends ice cream and makes ready to eat soup. However for a single person only making a single serving it isn't that great. It works great for making an entire batch of soup but not individual servings. One of the reasons I bought this was to make smoothies and it doesn't make individual sized smoothies and a lot of the smoothies I like to make don't keep well so I'm stuck adding ingrediants and wasting a lot of it and I don't want to pay another $100+ for the smaller jar which has pretty bad reviews. Same with ice cream, it is great for making low calorie sorbets with frozen fruit and fine for a family but won't blend a single serving. I've also found the smoothie and ice cream preset don't work for single servings. Another thing I don't like is you have to buy a different jar for dry items. I bought this to make small batches of flours like oat and wheat flour and also to grind coffee and to make peanut butter but requires a different jar that is another $125+. The cookbook that comes with it has a lot of good recipes and contains the nutritional info.
