Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Eau De Toilette Spray for Men, 3.04 Ounce

Absolutely love this cologne. Very, very strong and unique scent, possibly a little too strong for some people. I use it mainly in situations where I need a scent that stands out and can be easily detected, so it is perfect for nightclubs, dance parties and other events with a high density of people. Viktor and Rolf is a small brand compared to the likes of Nautica, Burberry, Chanel, and Ralph Lauren, so you will likely be the only one wearing V&R at your next event, which only works to your advantage. The actual fragrance is very musky, with a sweet "aftertaste" (only way I can describe it). Truly unique, it is completely exotic to most people, but unmistakeable to anyone who has had experience with it. My friends say they have never smelled anything like it when they borrow it. The scent is very masculine, the polar opposite of floral based colognes, so while it is great in situations where you will be meeting many women, it's likely too much for romance with your significant other, so use very little unless she says she craves it. The design of the bottle is, in one word, iconic. The black grenade styling speaks to the sometimes overpowering strength, and it's unabashed appeal towards the male market. It feels natural in your hand, more so than any other bottle I have used. The pull-pin is a small but significant addition that is the icing on the cake for this design, and in my cologne collection this is the only bottle I openly display. SUMMARY: This cologne has a unique, masculine, exotic scent that is very strong with a "sweet" aftertaste, and you have to be careful not to use too much in certain situations. The design of the bottle gives it a natural grip in your hand, and is unique, functional, and beautiful. This is one of the more expensive colognes in my collection, but it is my most used one and to me it is worth every penny I spend on it.

I am rating the product five stars, even though my particular experience with this purchase was four stars. I ordered the product on Friday, August 23rd. It shipped from Florida. It was in Minneapolis/St. Paul by Monday the 26th, so it should've been out for delivery on Tuesday the 27th. I received a card in my mailbox Tuesday the that a signature was required. I live in a secure building, and my mail room has large secure boxes for packages from the USPS. I did not request signature required so I was a bit peeved about that. This is not the seller's fault, but I checked the box on the yellow card and signed my name authorizing the postal carrier to leave the package at my apartment. This did not happen on Wednesday so I had to journey to the post office today to pick it up. This is certainly not the seller's fault but I would have preferred if the seller would have made it clear they ship packages with "signature required." I only detail this experience on here so others will be aware ... The seller was AWESOME because I ordered the product around 4pm central time August 23rd and it arrived from Florida in Minneapolis late in the day on August 26th... THAT IS SERVICE! ... Just be aware that a signature may be required even if you live in a secure building and are used to receiving packages without signatures all the time. Now, on to the product. I found this cologne in Macy's a couple weeks ago as a new scent. I immediately fell in love with it, but the 1.7oz size was $84.00 and the larger one $104.00 (way to mark it up Macy's!). I came home and checked Amazon and found it for under $57.00 for the 1.7oz size. This scent is amazing. I have a lot of cologne, and when I smelled this I thought "wow this is different!". I don't like wearing the same scents all the time. This is one I'll wear a lot. It's crisp and fresh, and the name Spicebomb is accurate. It has a definite "spice" to it.

i bought the 50ml bottle at a nearby fragrance store and i fell in love with it. ran out of it recently and rebought it here for half the price. to my surprise, it was a 90ml bottle, nearly double the size of the one prior. if you have yet to experience this fragrance, i would highly recommend. it has a natural sort of woodsy, spicy (who would’ve guessed) scent with hints of sweetness. i have never smelled fahrenheit by christian dior but someone recently compared the scent to that, so if you like that one you will like this. extra points for the cool bottle too, i enjoyed pulling the pin lol.

I had never smelled it before buying but so far I like it. Spice bomb is probably a good description of it. Has a masculine scent that’s calming but will get your attention. Smells different than most others I’ve tried. I think the scent lasts long because I did laundry a few days later and I could still smell it on my shirt. This might be my new favorite.

You will either love this one or hate this one. It is a very well done spicy fragrance with excellent performance. The smell is well rounded. It has a grapefruit top note. Which is nice then settles in with a kind of vanilla, coffee, spice feel. It can be cloying so go easy on the trigger. Just a couple of sprays does the trick. Like I mentioned earlier this lasts all day on my skin. This is a more mature scent in my opinion and I could see how one might think it smell s like an grandpa fragrance...kind of like Pure Malt by Thierry Mugler (which I also enjoy). It just depends on your style and how you carry yourself I suppose. Anyway, definitely try this out at your local mall before purchasing. I sampled it several times and decided I really liked it. They also make an extreme version which is an eau de parfume and an eau fraiche version which is still an eau de toilette but feels a bit softer than the standard spice bomb.

I feel it’s fake but I’m not sure. The smell doesn’t last.
