I had previously only used AC Delco / GM Performance Parts branded Valley Cover Plates. I found that the price had significantly increase since my last purchase. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this part, especially when comparing prices. It was easy install and no leaks.

It covered the hole in top. Shiny. Gaskets looked decent All in all. It works and looks good.

Cheap finish but great if you are painting or using insulators under stock intake. Would recommend for stock Afm delete. However, "plug" oil passages before relying on valley cover to permanently seal off oil ports.

It's not the prettiest of choices, but it's cheap. And it works. It's made in China and typically I rather buy the made in America brand that starts with an I. However, after getting that brands valley cover plate, I was less than pleased when I had to install the gaskets into it myself with the main gasket having too much slack left over. This worked perfect and I didn't have to mess with questionable feeling gaskets. Threw this on tightened and it isn't leaking.

Worked for me so far no leaks. Used on a 08 Silverado after doing a dod delete. Not the best finish out the box but added some paint. Side note good idea to block off the oil galleys under the plate.

It’s cast is a little rough and can visually see the sand paper like texture on the cover but if you sanded it down and painted it like I did then it’s worth it vs spending x2 as much for a billet one! Stock pressure sensor threading was perfect fit for OE sensor
