These are solid pieces and they work great. The only design flaw is that there is no where for water to flow out of it, so you will have to periodically clean it out.

Keeps the soap dry, doesn't leak so it prevents mess unlike some soap dishes out there
Was looking for something inexpensive to reduce mess at the sink. It has held up to months of use and has helped save money by keeping the bars of soap dry. The bamboo grid is removable. The plastic outer tray doesn't leak, so overall I'm pleased that this doesn't make a mess. Not a huge fan of plastic, but needed something as cheap as possible for a place we're renting.

Does the job
Bought these for my shampoo bars and they work great. And way more affordable than the ones the shampoo bar people tried to sell me. They work like a soap dish but the wooden grid keeps them dryer. You need to drain the soap dish frequently though.

3 Years later and it still looks brand new. Soap fits great and keeps the shower clean.

The wood grow mold very quickly
The wood makes mold on it from getting wet in a very short time. I had to throw the wood away. The plastic container still works and is perfect size for sponges.
