Plumber recommended for weak flush toilet due to calcium/lime buildup
Update: This product did help to open the toilet passageways for my decades old toilet, however it did not resolve the problem enough. I was still having backup issues with larger solid deposits. I ultimately did have to replace the toilet. The replacement cost about $250. I did not have to pay for installation. The apparent lesson: CLR can help, but you may have to just replace the toilet. Good news? Starting prices for toilets are very cheap! The toilet was backing up with ordinary solid deposits. The landlord wasn't doing a thing about it. Low rent meant I had to take matters into my own hands! A plumber recommended ZEP CLR. But when I read it can cause severe skin burns and blindness, I changed my mind on that! This CLR product is much safer and has worked wonders. Other reviews tell exactly how to use it to open up toilet pipes for a weak flush problem. Simply filter reviews with the word "toilet" in the reviews section and about a handful will come up with specific instructions on how to use it for this purpose. I strongly suggest not pouring it directly into the tank. The rubber gasket flapper no longer has quite the seal it had since CLR is corrosive. So follow other's instructions. My toilet's flush is MUCH stronger now !

Great product + best way to buy
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Really good deal & works great! Pour a bowl or pan full of this & drop your shower head in for a while. Then pour back into container!

Great remover of "living iron" water well filter screen sludge
I have an irrigation well that has what the well people call "living iron." In summer irrigation season the brown gooey sludge clogs the screen of the well's screen filter that keeps sand and small rocks from entering the irrigation pipes. This chemical dissolves the sludge that blocks the filter screen quickly, typically overnight. Filter screens come out looking brand new. I'm an ongoing customer -- putting the filter and its container into a bath of CLR once a month sure beats spending time with a wire brush and getting gooey mud-like sludge all over the place!

Use it regularly to clean
Our water is so hard and leaves calcium build up on all the faucets. I use this regularly when cleaning sinks and shower heads, just about anything that touches water
