Great stethoscope - light weight with heavy duty acoustics, long tubing, much more affordable than the Littman
I am an emergency physician. I use my stethoscope every day of my working life. For years I used a 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope, Black Plated Chestpiece and Eartubes, Black Tube, 27 inch, 2161 (currently over $200). A year ago I picked up this ADC Adscope 615, and since then this has become the only stethoscope I bring to work. The longer tubing helps avoid bending over and saves my back. The elongated chest piece handles very nicely. Critically for me, it is light around the neck. Much much lighter than the Littman. It's quite possible that a technical acoustic assessment would find differences between the Littman (with it's thicker, shorter tubing, and heavier and more expensive chest piece) and the 615. However, for the scope of my work in the Emergency Department there are no differences which impact my clinical performance whatsoever. Even cardiologists these days rely far more on echocardiograms and do not make definitive diagnoses of murmurs by auscultation alone, so I really wonder if there are any physicians for whom there is an appreciable difference in performance. At under $50, with the longer tubing, the lighter carrying weight around the neck or in the coat pocket, and the excellent acoustics, this is a great choice for any physician, PA, NP, nurse, paramedic, EMT or medical student. The price tag definitely takes the sting out of losing one of these, which happens every few years.

Love this stethoscope! Great acoustics for the cost. Pretty BCA Pink
I ordered the BCA Metallic Pink after the Metallic Raspberry arrived as a purple color rather than the bright fuschia that many pictures show. I've attached the image of the two side by side. This stethoscope has awesome acoustics, you can hear lung sounds and heart sounds simultaneously yet clear. It helps if you use it as designed (light for diaphragm, firm for bell). For the price I am ecstatic that I'm impressed and not disappointted. With this 615, I was able to clearly auscultate a click murmur that I couldn't pick up very clear with my MDF MD-One nor my classmates Littman classic II so I'm sold on this ADC. Make sure you Register you scope with ADC right away for your lifetime warranty. So that way anything that need a replaced can be shipped out, the stethoscope companies understand how important it is for us to be equipped with our much needed tools in order to provide care to our patients.

Pretty Good
I love the color (purple) and the sound is really good. Only thing I’m not a fan of is the long diaphragm because it’s hard to get a good seal on the arm when doing manual blood pressure. Other than that I really like this stethoscope.

Better than Litman Classic-3
I am a med student currently in my clinical rotations like all others I was in a dilemma whether to buy Litman or the never heard brand ADC. I spent about 2 days trying to find out the best stethoscope possible. After detailed reviews, I thought I should go for the branded Litman and it was costing me around 120$. Then my friend and most other people even suggested Litman. I have to tell you honestly if you want to get Litman get the top cardiology one don't waste your 120$ for something which is not very worthy I feel. But if you are med student and you are on a budget and want to get the top cardiology Litman mimic then get ADC Adoscpe 615 platinum. I have to tell you this one almost resembles the Litman cardiology and it just beats Litman classic-3. I believe this is just the right product for any med student who's in their rotation and when I received the product I felt its quite durable as well. I hope I don't have to get another one until I finish my residency. Litman's classic series is just a brand I feel. Its like BENZ there are basic and top-end models. people who ride the basic model they don't know why they are spending so much still they are buying it just for the brand. Please don't fall into the trap and not all branded products have great quality and vice-versa. This is my opinion because I have spent an ample amount of time comparing and used Litman products in hand. I would highly recommend hands down.

Thank you ADC!
I may not be an expert on these devices. I can only go by my personal experience and while I have a Littmann, I had better experiences using the equipment at school. I originally wanted to get a Erka stethoscope made in Germany, but you can't buy one for whatever reason. Thankfully, I found the ADC Adscope 615 series, which uses a similar design as the Erka. The ADC produces the kinds of audibles I have heard on the professional equipment at school. I highly recommend this stethoscope, as your field of hearing is more generalized and open to hear more sound. In other words, I find it easier to take manual blood pressures with this stethoscope over other manufactures. The difference in price should be noted as well, with the ADC being around $40 cheaper than the Littmann. The package does not come with a carrying case, which is a little disappointing. Even so, this has been one of my favorite purchases on the medical equipment side. Very happy to have the ADC 615.

I love my ADC stethoscope!
I can hear murmurs, bruits, and valvular clicks I’ve only heard in training DVDs in med school—but never before with my own stethoscope. I can clearly hear low and high-pitched sounds through clothes, with only the occasional rustle of the fabric. The head is a little heavy, but that’s not a con for me. The earpieces are far more comfortable than my med school Sprague stethoscope. The scope comes with an ID tag that securely clasps at the ‘Y’ of the tubing; after writing my name on the tag, I covered it with cellophane tape (waterproofing) because I’m cheap and didn’t want to shell out more money getting it professionally laminated. I’m chuffed about the navy blue tube color, very professional and commanding appearance. I’m way happier with this stethoscope than I expected! And it arrived in 1 business day—ordered on Sat. afternoon, arrived Monday afternoon. I can’t recommend this scope highly enough.

happy customer
great sound for the money. I am sick and tired of buying 300 dollars scopes, that are stolen off the wards. I will stick with this , one year from retirement.

5/5 Klang 5/5 Verarbeitung 5/5 Preis/Leistung

Really nice colour. Catches even small sounds. Little heavy at the diaphragm end, but it is expected. Fits properly in the ear and flexible
