I have noticed that this style of Vanity Fair is getting harder to find in stores, so I turned to Amazon. I bought a few to stock up on -- I have been wearing them for about ten years now. Very comfy and soft. The material in the underarm area does not ride too high like in other full-figure bras. The straps are stronger than the typical thin ones that can cut into your shoulders, but aren't too wide, like you're wearing a harness. I tend to have a reaction to nylon thread and lace with bras, and itch terribly. Not the case with this bra. Comfy comfy for this size 40D.

I have owned this brand bra for years. They fit great and wear well. Only now, after wearing them for years, are they showing any signs of wear and tear, so it was time to buy another one. Unlike another reviewer who thinks these new ones aren't as good as the old ones, I disagree. I feel no difference in quality or fit between this new version and the ones I've been wearing for years. Only time will tell if I still feel this way after wearing it for a long time, but so far, so good.

I really like this style bra, and the color options on Amazon are much better than in the stores. It seems that once you pass the "D" size, all you can get are white, taupe and black color options. I like this bright and fun color. I do find this style helps with the dreaded "back fat" issue, although there is a tiny bit of gap on the outside of the cups. Not enough to make it uncomfortable or loose, it just doesn't lay as flat as other bras I own. Still, it is very comfortable and works well to keep it all in!

I love these bras. The support is great for my yoga class, and comfortable enough for hiking. The straps do not chafe, the bra stays with me through forward and back bends. I wash them on the hand-wash setting on my front loading washing machine and hang them to dry and they come out great after several years of use. My oldest one (over 5 years old) is starting to get worn out so I felt very lucky to find a replacement online. I can't seem to find them in the department stores anymore.

I had purchased this bra in a larger size through a department store and loved how it fit. It was always my "go to" style. At one point I had it in four different colors. I lost a little bit of weight and needed a smaller band size, but they had stopped carrying this style in the store I usually go to, so I found this site and ordered. When I got the bra, it was the right size, but it didn't actually fit me as well as when I needed the larger band, which was really depressing because I liked this bra so much. I couldn't wear the bra because it was so uncomfortable on me, I had to send it back.

I like the fit (40C). It has held up very well (wash in mesh bag, never dry).Con1:Manufactures went to heat sealing (instead of sewing) the sides of the hook tapes which resulted in sharp edges in the back that actually abrade my skin and annoy me no end. Every bra I buy (even the $60 ones), I take an emery board to lightly sand the edges. No amount of washing helps.Con2:Straps elongate involuntarily - a big let down! Is it possible to fabricate bra strap elastic that is not shiny and will not slip down from its position in the clip? I used to have bras that had clips with edges that would grip the elastic. I have to resort to putting lumpy safety pins on my straps or live with old lady boobs.

Everything about the Vanity Fair bra is well designed: The fabric is smooth with an inconspicuous attractive design so perfect under t-shirts and light colors. The fit is exceptionally soft and comfortable. However, the absolute best part are the shoulder straps - they're wider than most bras so they don't curl or cut into ones shoulders, and they're cushioned for fabulous comfort. I'd give this Vanity Fair bra 10 stars for construction and design if I could. This will be my only bra purchase from now on.

I love this bra, had bought 2 at jcpenney. Was cheaper at amazon this time though. I am a vanity fair bra wearer for several years now, I'm almost 60 and I love the way the bra works with ALL my aging/gravity issues. I especially like the way the sides fit well, and even though the cups have floral design, they are fine with t-shirts or pretty blouse (smooth).
