Freestyle Lancets 100 pack with Free Gentle Touch MINI Lancet device Review: These are 28 gauge lancets - These are 28 gauge wire lancets, one size larger than the One Touch lancets. I seem to have thicker skin, so these work well for me with my LifeScan tester. Review: For those of us who pin prick, this is a good buy - It's freestyle, so it works The device that comes with it to pin prick the finger though is pretty much useless

Switched to this after going through three of the ones that come with meter
I found the one that comes with the Freestyle Lite to be very flimsy and inconsistent. I switched to a different brand and found that the needles of the other brand were painful compared to the Freestyle and did not always even produce an adequate amount of blood to test or would leave a stream of blood. So, I gave up and tried this one. The Freestyle Lite 28 guage lancets fit in it perfectly and with this unit, it feels like a small mosquito bite. Also, it provides a very consistent amount of blood. My old ones fell apart after a month each time and I could not get a consistent amount while trying to hold unit together and push trigger. This one has a rigid body and does not have that problem. The only issue that I had was it took me a few minutes to find the trigger. The trigger is a clear plastic button that does not extend about surface. Just look for the clear round button near the end. Also, the cocking end looks a bit like the needle end. You twist the gray side to remove cap and put in lancet then replace cap and pull the blue end to cock.

Very comfortable pins
I like these pins because they don't hurt so much when you use them. They are sharp and easy to use.
