My toddlers can be rough on books! I was collecting a stack of some of their favorites that had broken bindings, pages torn out or flaps that had been torn off. The stack was getting to large that I needed to do something about it!I bought this glue and set to work! This stuff really holds well! It’s easy to apply directly where you need it, it dries fast, it’s flexible and is really strong! I even was able to fix some of the library books that we checked out with broken bindings!Definitely recommend as a must needed tool for all moms of destructive toddlers!

The glue sets well and binds strong. Used it to repair two books so far with good results. One is a 60-year-old, leather bound, small Bible. The text block had separated from the cover and one signature detached from the rest of the text. The glue set overnight beneath the weight of a few books and now you can't even tell it had ever detached.Only improvement would be to include a cap for the bottle. Once you poke a hole in the nozzle to dispense the glue, there's nothing included to keep the glue from drying out (or spilling out if it gets squeezed or upended!). I initially left the paper liner in the bottle to serve this purpose, but am now just leaving a pin in the hole in the nozzle.

I used affordable colored ribbon strips, glued to paper squares. When that dried, I applied more glue, inserting the paper tabs into book spines. This allows me to add page marker ribbons to most books -- books which never had marker ribbons before. Many of the books I added marker ribbons to, are OOP, and collectible. These ribbons will actually increase the value of my books, making them uniquely better, more user-friendly.

My Bible had a section starting to pull away from the binding and a friend recommended this to repair it. I ordered it but didn’t use it bc my Bible was readable. Well, that section finally fell out. I used it on the binding and stuck the section back in…it was a little messy bc I put a lot but wiped it off the pages as good as I could. I let it sit open for a couple of days and that section is in there solid and not coming out any time soon! It worked really great!!!!
