Used this comb to untangle a relatives hair who has been bed ridden for a while and hair care had deteriorated whilst admitted to hospital when poorly. Her hair was very matted, straight fine hair, not the 4c hair the comb is recommended for, but with some detangling and conditioning product the comb carefully untangled the matting with ease. There was a worry the only way to remedy the problem would be to cut the clumps of damaged hair off, but this comb was a lifesaver! 100% recommend.

....and this is the BEST detangler I've ever used. Hands down. My hair gets THAT knotted, that I have to sometimes take a straight razor to thin the burrs out. It's awful. I find that the usual detangling brushes just skim over, and the teeth bend, against the solid burrs of knotted hair. Eventually, sometimes it takes hours or days, it might work. With extensive use of conditioners and detanglers.This was quick and painless in comparison. I absolutely adore it. Paired with the Tangle Teezer detangling mist (for fine hair), it was a much easier. ♥️

I like using tangle teaser brushes and have bought another comb from the tangle teaser range, which although not bad, did not do much for me. This comb however has been much more useful.For context (should you need it) , I'm 3C, medium density, shoulder length hair that would probably reach around bra strap length if blow dried straight (which I do not do). As for porosity, don't ask as I have no clue.My preference before now, was to use a brush to detangle when washing hair, I never found combs did a good job of it, this comb changed my opinion.Admittedly there will of course be the odd tangle here and there while combing, and I do occasionally get my hair caught on the bristle side of the comb (which is easily remedied in a second or two and poses no real issues).Overall I do shed less hair compared to when I use a brush, which is a plus because reducing hair loss is my main objective at present.I like this comb enough that I'll be buying another one as back up. Just because.

So good for getting through hair that is knotty and matted. I had given up and thought I would need to cut off the knotted mess in my daughter’s hair until I used this!

Such a lovely comb with a tactile feel to it. Bought one each for the grandchildren.
