Enebla: Recipes from an Ethiopian Kitchen

I have bought several recipe books on Ethiopian cuisine and I returned all of them accept this one. Out of all the Ethiopian cookbooks on Amazon this was the only one actually written by an Ethiopian person. All the others were on some cultural appropriation foolishness. One book didn't even use Ethiopia's famed berbere spice so I knew it was a knock off and returned it.This book was authentic to the Motherland. I stayed in Ethiopia for a time and wanted to recreate the dishes of Ethiopia at home. Well this book does not disappoint. The pictures accompanying the recipes are excellent. This is as close to traditional Ethiopian as one can get. I highly recommend anyone who loves traditional Ethiopian cuisine to get this book.

The recipes always come out outstanding and are easy to follow, especially for someone like me with no real cooking experience. I love the personal stories and anecdotes, and the pictures add a nice personal touch.An absolutely wonderful book! Can't wait to make Kitfo and Spris!

Beautiful cookbook that brings you into the heart of the family and culture of Ethiopia.

I love this cookbook, I have others, but this is my favorite.

Always wanted to learn how to make Ethiopian food but needed a structured guide with pictures. This is everything I wanted and more! Thank you for making such a wonderful book! I can’t wait to make more food to share with loved one :)
