Zebra PenZ-Grip Flight Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Bold Point, 1.2mm, Red Ink (Pack of 1,12 Count Total)

I’ve been buying these for years I’m left-handed and if you’re left-handed, you know you’re a heavy writer. These glide nice and smooth. I get the blue and the blue is very nice dark sharp colored blue the only pen that doesn’t hurt my hand.

These are great pens! As a nurse, I am always on the lookout for a nice retractable pen that writes smoothly - these are perfect! Bonus that they have a snazzy black and white design - very distinctive! Everyone at the nurse's station knows these are "my pens" - lol! :)

I'm a HUGE fan of the Zebra 1.2 mm ballpoint. I buy the "blue 12-pack" every few months, because it's pretty much the only pen I use. I used to hoard them jealously but have recently undergone a wave of generosity. Now I scatter a few around my parents' house, stash them in my husband's backpack, keep a couple in our cars' glove compartments, and hid an extra in my sister-in-law's purse. They're that good; everyone who uses the Zebra 1.2mm is like "whoa, this pen is really great". I just ordered a box for my sister-in-law's Christmas present. My mother-in-law, back in Delhi, reports that she jealously keeps every pen for herself, instead of offering them freely around.ANYWAY: so. I REALLY love the Zebra 1.2 mm. When I read NYMag's "The Strategist", the celebrity shopping columns often mention favorite pens. I am here to tell you those recs are hogwash. THIS is the best pen of them all. Flow is smooth! 1.2mm width is satisfying! Wait a few seconds and it doesn't smear even with a highlighter! The nib, or whatever it's called, doesn't wiggle when you press down! I've long thought retractable pens are the way to go- one less thing to lose. So, literally everything about this pen is perfect. I love it, I get a lot of pleasure out of using it, it is a "go-to", I never have to think about pens again. I will use these forever. And, now, instead of jealously guarding them, I've decided to be more generous, and I share them somewhat freely. I am going to give them to 3 sister-in-laws as holiday presents, and I know they will love them. Pens are important, especially once you hit your 30s. Ain't nobody got time for lame pens. - AM SIL

Not my favorite, but also not my least favorite. They wrote smooth, but I still prefer a thick pointed gel pen.

I have a thing about pens.* * * * * *I've had other favorites in years' past, but this one beats them all!I've ordered HUNDREDS of these things over the past several years - that's how much I use them.I doodle, I make lists, I take notes - these things will write on everything.And, they do not blob like so many other bold point pens.My only complaint is that Zebra does not make ink refills - I hate throwing the pens away when I've used up the ink.

This is my favorite pen. I buy them at walmart but I've only seen black ink pens. When I saw the blue on amazon i swiped to buy. The ink is dark and smooth. I took one star because i noticed the blue ink will smudge if you dont allow it to dry. I take notes at work and highlight important points. I noticed with my black ink pens i can highlight immediately after writing and it will not smudge .With the blue ink pens I have to wait till it dries because if I highlight after writing the ink will smudge when i drag the highlighter over it.

Ink is very blotchy at times. They work for now, but I’ll definitely try a different brand when I’ve used all of these up.

The pen writes nice, but it seems to build up ink around the tip.
