Great for the home office!
I decided to put these on the wall behind my computer monitor in my home office to add a bit of color, art, and lighting. Connecting to the app was easy and worked well. The overall installation was fairly easy, but I used some of the packing material as kind of a guide. The lights come with triangle cardboard pieces as packing material between each of the lights in the box. Since they're the same size as the lights, I used painters' tape to lay out the cardboard pieces on the wall first. Then I used that to figure where exactly to install the first controlling light. Once the first light was installed, I removed the cardboard template from the wall completely and continued installing the rest of the lights based on the first one, following my pattern, and using the level. These lights are BRIGHT! You can control the brightness in the app, so if you'd prefer something more dim, that's totally an option. But because I wanted to use them to add more diffused lighting for zoom/webcam calls, the brightness was a huge bonus, and they work perfectly for that. I mounted them behind my camera and about a foot up on the wall, and I don't even get the obnoxious reflection/glare off my glasses. These are a bit expensive, but they seem like nicer quality from a lot of the cheaper ones. The body of the triangles also light up evenly, so you don't see individual led lights within them--just solid triangles. In terms of using them more for wall art, there are a ton of preset options in the app, and some are fantastic. As for the music mode, it was absolutely terrible in my opinion and made me feel like I was going to have a seizure or something. It listens for any noise (not just music), so it'll flicker with every sound in the room. If you want something like that but less obnoxious, I believe there's a "party" scene that just kind of changes the colors of the panels at a regular interval. The cord dangling is also a bit ugly, but I think I'm going to get a one-cord cord channel hider which should make it look nicer.

Fun lights
Govee is the only LED light strips I will buy now. Bought so many sets over the years that have been garbage. I will pay a little extra for a Govee set (when there are sales and there almost always are).So many settings and effects, bright and colorful light. The app is great too allowing for lots of automation, and can be synced with google home too.

Great set
This is my first Govee set. Overall, it's a great product. It can be a lot brighter than I was expecting - it will function well in both bright and dark rooms due to easy dimming controls. The installation experience and the app are great. The only issue I ran into was forgetting to connect all the cables before sticking to the wall (oops!) But the set comes with two extra adhesive strips in case you make a mistake during the mounting process. The app has a ton of settings and animation options that I look forward to exploring. Out of the box, there are several lighting options (including static and dynamic options, including responding to noise in the room.) The app allows for what seems to be fine grained control and scene design. The triangles seem well built - they all have uniform lighting and seem well calibrated. I'm really happy with the set. While Govee has set a very competitive price, I do wish it was a bit cheaper. It'd be awesome to add onto this or to build out a second piece, but this pricing makes it difficult. To me, the value isn't quite there even though it's much cheaper than their main competitor. Yes, the quality and the software are amazing, but it is a good chunk of money. If list price was a bit lower, 5 stars. Otherwise the value proposition just isn't a 5 star product to me.

Fantastic! Be sure to use the layout feature before trying to assemble them in a pattern
The Glide Tri is so far my favorite Govee lighting product so far out of Glide, DreamView Backlights and lightbars, pendant lighting, and various LED strips that I also have..They work exactly as described and have great illumination power - alone they can light up my home office which is about 13'x14'.My advice to those that are getting this is two fold:1) Before even unboxing it, use the Govee Home App to design the layout you want. Don't do what I did which was to take them all out and arrange them on the floor in a pattern and then piece them together and then try to stick it on the wall. Hint: That approach just won't work. I would have saved a lot of time and frustration if I just used the App layout feature ahead of time - you get there by adding it as a device and there's a layout canvas there.2) Figure out where the power lead you want to hook it up to will face in direction. It'll be the first one in the layout feature. I had to redo the design a few times to make sure that the power lead was coming from the bottom most triangle of the pattern to lessen the visibility of the power cord.Doing the above will save you from unsticking them from the wall because of an avoidable mistake - and since I do not believe they sell replacement stick-on stickers you won't have to get creative like me when it comes to 'oopsie' adhesive.

Multiple different govee lights failed, too expensive for the quality
I have the triangle wall panels, the diffused light bars and a led strip and all have started to fail within 18 months. The Triangles stopped working when they were unplugged at one point, no abuse or anything. Just simply unplugged. The light bars will just randomly flash white at full brightness every few seconds to few minutes... great for pretending I am in a thunderstorm but distracting and annoying for everything else. The light strip just stopped working, I stuck them under my desk and have never touched them and they died. I only turned them on and off via google home. They are too expensive to die so quickly. My nano leaf panels are still going strong 5 years later and I have moved them several times to different walls.
