Vintage Bronze Automatic Watch 39 MM Small Caliber Wristwatch Solid Bronze Buckle Crown Suede Leather Strap

I'm comparing this watch - $165 - to other watches in my collection that range between $250 - $3200. The case is bronze and it looks really well machined and finished, as good as the Phoibos bronze watch I own. The sapphire crystal is single dome and looks very clear, with no discernable glare. The case back has tasteful engravings, but nothing special. The dial is the star, here. The hand style, if you like it, is lovely and tasteful, the numbers and other markings are precise, and the lume is impressive. What I really like is the crown. It provides a very positive grip and screws in smoothly, although I will run some dental floss across the threads to smooth it up even further. The Bronze buckle has sharp edges, somewhat, and there is some play. But it is functional. The suede strap is not really my cup of tea. It is thick and stiff, but along with wearing the watch, it has been supremely comfortable, so far. Compared to my more expensive Henry Archer, Longines, etc., it lacks the fine finishing. But those watches cost much more and they had better be much better. I'm a little stunned with the low cost of this watch for the perceived high quality that I get. I'll be honest...the bar is low with most of what I buy from China. This watch is a cheery exception with which I am very pleased. With a Seiko movement, it should be sturdy and keep pretty accurate time. We'll see how it stands up to time! BEST FEATURE FOR THIS STYLE OF WATCH - 200m water resistance. Try finding that on a bronze Oris for more than 10 times the price.

Dove in to try out a Bronze watch. Didn't want to spend a lot. Glad I tried this one, because now I don't have to buy a more expensive Bronze piece because this does the job. I've put a rubber dive band on to replace the leather witch was not not made for the water - and now after 2 summers of being that GADA watch that I'm not worried about damaging - it's earned my respect. Great lume and easy visible dial, keeps great time, and has a very respectable power reserve. The only gripe would be that you must be gentle with the crown when screwing it down - seems easy to cross thread. Just be deliberate and don't force it. Patina comes in a month or so. 5 star cheap automatic watch!

Wasn't sure how I felt about this watch been in my cart for a while it went on sale so I decided it would be the right time to snag it and I did! I replaced the band with a black band the original was ok but didn't like the color, the watch looks amazing very well done by addies if you're thinking about it just buy it great watch!

Sick watch, way better than I expected i highly recommend it

First of all, I really like this watch. I’ve had it 6 months and it’s starting to darken. It has a very functional vibe to it and it keeps great time. It gains about 3 seconds a day.

Nothing to dislike, this watch hands down amazing. Keeps perfect time & beautiful blue lume and awesome dial.

Nice piece, bit of a zenith pilot homage. Good features screw down crown hacking and hind winding.
