My maltipoo loves this mat! I crumble up some of her favorite snacks and it keeps her entertained for at least 30 min. It’s hilarious watching her try to get every last piece. Once she’s done she sometimes tosses the mat around to see if she missed anything. Small pieces have broken off from her pawing or gnawing but otherwise it’s held up pretty well.

My dog LOVES this thing! It keeps her busy for a good 45 minutes if she gets distracted, we use it to hide her food because she swallows it whole when we feed her in a bowl. So this has slowed her eating wayyyy down and has helped immensely in keeping her occupied. The quality is nice, i love that it’s felt, BUT it seems like if she scratches at it enough, the strings of the fabric come out and feels fuzzy. I’m not sure how to describe it but it looks like it might experience some pretty bad ware and tear after a while. I love how easy it is to set up, and the variety of folds help the food get stuck so that my dog can sniff and dig her way around. Very nice toy set up!

It’s cute and fun for dogs. We call it the puppy Nintendo. It keeps them entertained and good for helping dogs eat slower. Minus one star because it’s just was not very durable. Maybe better for older dogs, not for the razor sharp puppy teeth. Lasted a little under a month and it already has holes.

My 11-year-old Maltipoo is very particular with which toys can keep her attention. With her getting up there in years, I wanted to incorporate things to help keep her mind active. I have been considering snuffle mats for years and finally bought my little girl one this past Christmas. It took less than a minute to set it up (hide treats in the nook & crannies). She couldn’t get enough of it! Played with it for almost an hour. Would run off for other things but would return to the mat throughout the day. It was so dadgum adorable! I had a blast just watching her figure it out. And oh-my-gosh is it an energy drainer. She was so pooped all evening and the next day. The price is worth it.

This mat is effective to keep my dogs busy and make them think. When I received the mat I had to unroll it and place heavy objects on the corners because it kept trying to roll back up. I do not like the material of the mat because it is stiff and the material does not move around easily. That could make it more difficult for the dog to get the food out which could be good for some but I personally rather have a softer material. Since it is a stiff material it makes it hard to place the food/treats but it is still usable. I personally would not buy this brand again based off the material of the product. It still works and that is the only reason I am keeping the mat instead of returning it. The mat in my opinion feels cheap and I do not think it is worth what I paid for it. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because it is still effective but would not be my first choice.

Best toy I ever bought my dog. My boy is 16 yrs old and I wanted to get him a toy he could still interact with and get the most out of it even though he's not super mobile these days. He loves this. It's easy to use and clean.

I'm surprised at how well this matt is holding up to our heavy chewer, Oliver! He really has to work to get all the little treats, chews and squeaky toys out which makes for great mental stimulation. Oliver is an Australian Cattle Dog, (Blue Heeler), that needs to be challenged, especially, when it's too cold/snowing out to be in our Wisconsin weather. Surprisingly inexpensive while being well made with tough material and sturdy stitching. He loves it so much that he lays on it or brings toys/chews to it to enjoy! Didn't expect that.

I bought this for my cat who had to be isolated after neuter surgery. He really enjoyed snooping through for his treats. The only issue is that the felt pieces don’t really stick up and they’re very smushed. I even tried washing and drying it to see if it would fluff up like the pictures. But regardless it’s a fun activity to keep them entertained. I think this would be too small for a medium or large dog.
