The product was great and they put in a remote control that helped so much.This company was so wonderful to work with we had a little issue I was so afraid we were just out of luck. They communicated with us on it the issue was resolved immediately which wasn’t anything they did it was in the shipping of the product. But they took care of us we were so great full and will buy in the future from this great company. Once again thank you for being such a great company to work with.

piece of junk. didn’t come with instructions, so i bought the printed version. stupid idea; small print and couldn’t make heads nor tails out of how to work it, then, the machine broke trying to get a tape out. Total waste of money.💵

The unit is a good size and has good functions. I am definitely keeping mine. Here are the non-obvious quirks about the unit:Amazon does not re-pack this. The Manufacturer's foam packing is insufficient for UPS. Only order 2-day FedEx, or plan on a delay should USP brutalize the package. / LED based display is angled up a little and may be hard to read if high up or if catches a glare. / Warranty is ONLY 90 days. Amazon lists 1 year for parts which is not what the product literature says. You should get the extended warranty since the tape loading motor is very low-end and will wear out. / Configuration menus are in different places. They look good, but some functions just magically won't let you in (Channel config for me). / The unit seems to work fine and has a good allotment of ports. Definitely saves space on the settop. / The remote has lots of SMALL buttons and many are dual purpose with red and black text differentiating. If you have trouble with small text or small buttons, you may not like the included remote. Since it's an all-in-one unit, universal remotes might not provide adequate functionality. / The unit is very light and has a smooth underside. Make sure it is on a flat and stable surface. The top of a cabinet TV is great, but the top of a normal or thin TV will probably not be stable enough without adding rubber feet all over the bottom. / The unit is actually useable from the front panel unlike many other units.NOTE: The unit failed after 4.5 months. An internal connection failed between the DVD and VCR units, making DVD playback impossible. Remote control codes are nonstandard. I'd re-rate it lower now.

You will need an HD VIDEO CONVERTER to connect to your smart TV.Works great , unit looks like new. No remote, but works with a universal remote just fine.

Was really thrilled to be lucky enough to get this DVD/VCR was not sure about ordering.but sure happy that I did.Works like as they said Used But Like New,turns out mine works like New! I'm enjoying seeing my Family and hearing their voices again,It's like they are still with us, many laughs and tears. Just loving them!I would regiment this company very highly. ; )

I bought this unit in September of 2004 and was very satisfied with it. Then, for no reason, it just died in January 2007. Seemed like a connection was loose and that electricity wasn't getting to it, but everything was hooked up tight. I had to use a butter knife to pry open the DVD player to get the DVD out that was in it. I think it should have lasted more than just a bit over 3 years with little to moderate use. I replaced it with a JVC that got great consumer reviews.

This unit was very rough ( broken VCR Door) and unusable. Notified Amazon and followed return procedure. Two day return & money back in bank. Well Done. CHARLES...
