Adhesive Mounts for GoPro Hero Hero2 Hero3 Hero3+, 3 Curved + 3 Flat Mounts

I had high hopes for this to save a little money by buying non OEM accessories. These are obviously knock offs that were not done very well. I can fit the clip in but it is very hard to push all the way in. Also I had to use a set of pliers to get the thing out. It is about half a mm too small so the gopro clips do not fit well at all. I also noticed that the 3m tape is about half as thick as the gopro ones even though the tape says 3m vhb on both of them. The only way i can get this to work is to sand my original gopro clips. I would not recommend, I also do not think the tape will hold very well either, I dont want to risk my $400 camera to save a couple bucks. I hope this helps some people make a better decision.

These things work great. Almost identical to the ones sold by gopro. They come with the 3m adhesive foam pieces cut to size. This stuff is very strong. You have to stick the adhesive onto the mount itself, which you don't have to with the go pro ones. But it take a few seconds and saves you a ton of money. If you hate that you have to do that, buy the go pro brand ones, but you will still be irritated when you find you still have to stick the other side onto your gear.I stuck this onto my helmet, I can hold the go pro and shake the helmet, and it holds.Even if you don't own a gopro, you should buy these in case you end up getting one. Deals like this won't last long...

These work for ALL GoPro's. They last, they don't wear down and they are cheap. As far as adhesion goes, they work well at 180mph. I would still tether it, but it doesn't come off. I mean that, once they are on they are not the easiest to take off so make sure that you place them exactly where you want them.

Fit is a little sloppy for my SJCAM, which uses the same mount, the width is slightly wider, and thicker than the original SJCAM mounts and seems to be of lower quality than the SJCAM originals (which in themselves are cheap copies of GOPRO). Mating piece rattles a little in it but probably will not come out. Seems to stick OK, I would suggest a safety lanyard on your camera when using one of these.

These mounts let go of my snowmobile and dropped my GoPro Hero3 somewhere on the mountain. Six of us spent an hour retracing our trail and couldn't find the camera. I read later that you are supposed to let the mount "cure" for 24 hours before using the mount, which i didn't do, so take my review with a grain of salt. Still, I'm now without a camera and lost a day's worth of video. $$$$$ If you find a GoPro in Strawberry Valley Utah, let me know. :(

I needed a way to hook up my go pro to a bottle of booze at our wedding and this was the key. We were able to slap it on there and pass the bottle around. The footage is fantastic and the go pro never moved the whole night, and at least 30 different people were touching it. Will buy again for other ways to mount the go pro and gets some killer footage.

Decent quality at a good price. These ship with the adhesive pad not attached. I prefer this, sometimes I use the mounts with a strap and my own rubber backing. Putting the adhesive pad on is simple and took seconds. Fit and finish is very good, no rough edges and the camera mount slid right in, not to loose and not to tight. When I need more, I'll be getting these.

I was very exited when I ordered these mounts as they were just what I needed. They seemed to be of good quality at first use and I placed them on a multitude of surfaces I was planning to use them. Now it has just been 5 days and none of these mounts will hold anymore.I suspect it is the extremely low quality adhesive used on these, I do not believe that these are 3M adhesives as advertised, and neither are the mounts themselves are genuine Shineda but rather fakes.Sometimes when the price is too good to be true, it simply is...
