perfect for camping. highly recommend.
Easy setup and take down, no fighting to get back into it's bag. perfect. excellent camp kitchen, i purchased an extra side wall. we had a torrential downpour for a full day while camping and nothing inside got wet. holds my 6 foot folding table and a couple of coolers, with storage under the tables also. I even stuck my camp chairs inside to keep dry.

Love this item!
I love this canopy as far as how easy it is to put up and take down. It does take a little practice, but I do it all by myself which is why I selected this one. I live near Houston, so it is hot as hell outside here all the time. My HOA does not allow trees, so we just fry in the backyard. My dogs have no shade except the patio, but they prefer to be in the grass. You can see it really only gives you the shade of the top so less than 8x8...but something better than nothing. The flap is removeable, and you can move it as the sun moves. I have since bought a second flap because it gets old moving it because I am lazy, not because it is hard. It is super easy to move it. You will need to anchor it down with wind. I use the stakes and sandbags on the legs. I also bought the canopy extension but you need more than 1 person to put that up and I can't do it so I may have to send it back. You can't get the extra flap or canopy in this color either so that was a bummer. Overall, it is worth the money to not have to fumble and need 2 people to put it up. Super easy up and down and storage. Love this product!!!

Easy set up, super lightweight
Wow I’m impressed. I ordered this popup because it was the same design and shape as my Coleman tent. It was pouring rain when I was setting it up. It took less than 5 minutes to get it up and staked down. It rained for two days and the items I had underneath this little popup stayed dry. It came down just as quickly and fit easily into the carry bag. I ordered the extra sides and awning also. It held up great in the rain and wind in South Dakota. I can’t wait to take it to the beach.

Money-wasting disaster!
extremely difficult to put up & one leg won't lock into place! if you watch the setup video, it's so obvious that it was edited to cut out the part where the struggle happens (little disconnect in the video frame flow). the instruction sheet does not accurately represent how to set up. you have to actually pull and hold all the legs outward, coax the middle hub up, pull and hold legs, coax hub up again, repeating these steps until the hub finally meets the top connector. for me, the clip that holds the hub and connector together just wouldn't grab even though it was right where it needed to be. moving on, extending the legs up was a breeze.....until the fourth leg wouldn't lock into place at all, no matter how much we tried. we could see when the little latch reached the spot it should lock into because the button on the leg would try to pop out, but it just wouldn't lock in, just kept sliding right on by. no matter how carefully & slowly we tried to get it to grab, it just wouldn't. what a money-wasting disaster! i'd also add that 8'x8' is a bit misleading because the the dimensions at the top are not included. i didn't take into account the slope from bottom to top, so a 4’x4' work table placed in the corner will not give me 4' extra workspace on 2 sides, as i had hoped. upper dimensions would have made it easier to gauge actual work space. also, because of the slope, the inner 6.5" only applies to the center spot, of course. i'm 5'5', so that is not an issue for me. but, just something to keep in mind if you decide to take your chances on this thing.

Camping with this Canopy
I used this popup canopy while camping for a month in September 2024. It is easy to set up and down for 1 person. It takes practice to set up and I would recommend practicing at home before your event. The canopy did well with moderate wind as long as you stake down the canopy both at the bottom and the tabs with string. I ordered the additional walls and the hooks that attach to the rings do not hold the wall for long and become lose needing to reattach more often than not. I decided to use the nylon loops that attach the rings to the canopy and that seemed to work better. One thing I did notice is the "fraying" of the 2 nylon loops at the bottom of the canopy legs used to stake it down. For context, I have put up many tents in the past 40 years and have never had this happen. Not sure what to do about that because it is important to stabilize the canopy on the ground. Other than the problems stated above, it surprised me. Complete waterproof .... no.... but it did better in the rain that I would have thought when the walls were hung. Held well in moderate wind but needs to be staked down from all points for that to happen. I liked the popup convenience feature. For light use, I would recommend it. For heavier use, the jury is still out.

Canopy that makes shade a walk in the park
Bought this canopy hoping it was as advertised to be opened easily and by one person. I found the key to making it a little easier is to make sure the legs are fully extended but not snapped closed before beginning to pull on the cable that raises the canopy. I have to admit it is a bit difficult to hold the top of the canopy while pulling the cable. Maybe my arm strength isn’t that great? Unfortunately I suppose there just isn’t a product that really pops up with ease, but it is so much easier than the heavy pop-up canopy I had to give to my son due to the heaviness and lack of ease to raise. That one needed a minimum of 2 people to raise it. The canopy’s compact and lightweight but made of sturdy quality. The nylon tie-down cords are coated to resist weather damage and fraying. The added side panel is great to reduce sun exposure. This is the first carrying case for just about all the products I’ve bought with zip-up material carrying cases that I didn’t have to struggle to put the item back into its bag. I was so surprised there’s actually sufficient room to return the canopy back into its case. I’m happy with my purchase.

Wow. Simply amazing. I have been looking for something like this for camping or when going to the beach and was so happy to find this. Good quality, portable and most importantly easy to setup and dismantle. I love it
