I have a small space with limited storage and two kittens that are entering their naughty teenage years. They do what kittens/cats do to furniture: scratch it, jump on it, run into it, rub their butts on it, fight on it, push each other off it.I know that my kittens will mellow as they age so I wanted to get storage that wasn’t expensive, heavy, bulky and difficult to store/sell/etc when no longer needed. So I needed something that was affordable, lightweight and easy to assemble/disassemble and multipurpose.This storage unit is definitely what I needed. I’m sure many people are familiar with the mesh ones that are sold at many home goods stores as closet storage, so there isn’t much to explain in terms of assembly. I like that this unit has solid plastic panels and doors so my kittens can’t get into anything. And because I purchased the white unit, my cats don’t leave visible scratch marks or damage. I’m not sure about the other colors though. I will also say that the white unit is very clean and modern looking compared to the other options. If you want a minimalist white or somewhat Bauhaus look on a tight budget this one is great!I assembled my storage horizontally, two rows of four cubes, so it wouldn’t be a high safety hazard for my kittens. I store all of their food, treats, medications and other supplies in these cubes. I‘m even able to store a16lb kibble bag by taking a shelf out between two cubes! This hasn’t effected the structural integrity of the entire storage unit but if you’re worried about heavy storage loads or heavy cats, I highly recommend using thin zip ties of a matching color.Because my kittens know their belongings are in this storage they scratch, paw and try to open the doors. They can’t because there are little plastic clips that the doors snap into and lock into place. The locking strength is great, but the clips themselves have proved to be fragile. Opening & closing the doors wears down the clip and they break. There are a few spares but if you really want to get fancy you can probably add some steel epoxy to the backside of the clips so they don’t snap as easily, or make a silicone mold so you can make infinite copies. I hope the manufacturer can fix this problem in the future by making the clips stronger!

These are a little cumbersome to put together. (Use a rubber mallet if you have one. The mallet it comes with is not sturdy and comes apart easily). I got these to replace a cube unit I purchased at target that completely molded from a small flood in my apartment. (Target furniture is not worth it. Poor quality and cheap materials). I have two of these units. One with doors and one without and I’ve got them pieced together nicely which works for storage in my bedroom. I keep heavy items at the bottom and I did get a shelf for the top so I could place items on top of it without worrying about damaging the vinyl.I am overall happy with these and highly recommend.

Worked well, if you take the bottom panels out you can use the area to put heavier items since it doesn’t hold too much weight. Was super annoying to put together though, and took forever to get everything all the way in. The door holder snap things also kept breaking and were even more annoying to put in.

This thing is 100% function, not fashion. It is so ugly but it’s affordable, easy to put together and works fairly well. I love it for storage, I do not have it in the main areas of my apartment because it is not pretty at all lol

Falls apart easily. The doors are garbage, and the catches broke within the first couple of uses. Assembly is pretty straightforward. I would not repurchase this.

These are great for storing extra sheets and towels. Kind of a pain to assemble but not that bad. Single person job. Just takes time. I plan to be gentle with it as it doesn’t seem it could handle rough treatment. Perfect for what I needed it for

I was honestly shocked at all the piece required to put this together. After trying for some 40 minutes to assemble it with the bare minimum of instructions (and no video) I'm left wondering how this company is in business. There is NO room for error -- once attached the connectors do not come off for repositioning. Nor is it remotely sturdy or as attractive as the photos would indicate. It's plastic. And looks and feels plastic. And going back to the seller.Spoiler alert: It is still unassembled.

I liked this storage cabinet. I have had it over a year and it is very sturdy and adds a decorative touch to my bathroom. I would suggest buying baskets to fill the cubbies to keep your things organized and dust free.
