SOOO much better than soda!!
I've been drinking lemon barley water ever since I can remember, but had never seen any other flavour until I'd been living in the US for a while and found the orange and also the apple and blackcurrant, they are really good as well, however, I can only buy the apple and blackcurrant with 'no sugar added ' now, and I can't stand the horrible after taste of the artificial sweetener in it!!I did buy a two pack of the A/B because there was no mention of being 'no added sugar ' couldn't send it back, so threw it away!I did invest in a SodaStream machine and both barley waters taste even more refreshing with the sparkling water!!I hadn't had any soda at all for about a year when I had a sip of orange soda, it was way too sweet and got thrown away!!

Delicious
Saw this on Call the Midwife and had to try it. It's delicious but I had to dilute with water because it's so strong.

Oh So Good
The lemon was always my favorite; it's the standard. I didn't like the taste of the orange. But just for fun, I mixed the orange barley water concentrate with orange juice instead of water.Try this: Mix the proper amount of the orange concentrate with the best orange juice. Don't use orange juice from concentrate, it loses its flavor. Get the best, either Tropicana or, it's available where you are, Simply Orange. Use the pulp-free type. Now, you have a drink which costs about twice as much as an equal amount of most juices. (Hey, if you want to go cheap, buy one of those make-your-own-soda things advertised on TV).But this tastes like a mixed drink sans the alcohol. Try it once, and between gulps tell me if you agree.

Black in bottom of bottle
It is not black sediment but it is a result of the preform being too hot when the bottle was stretch blow molded.
