I've put together three gunpla models with this kit so far and it's definitely a good value. Obviously there are better nippers out there but these get the job done with no hassle. I like the filer for getting nubs down and the sand paper is a nice addition as well. The blade is decent enough, however sometimes it gets a little loose and I have to tighten it a bit but that's okay. The razors are a nice long and thin with a good point that makes it excellent for getting into some of the smaller parts.

Better than expected. Great set of tools especially for the price

Good starting point for a Gunpla/Plamo builder! You don't need expensive tools to start and these'll work perfectly fine for your first few kits. Some of these will last even longer as you upgrade/replace what you want to as you go.

This is not a top-end set like Tamiya or God Hand, but for this price and the number of tools included, it’s a great value. The basic tools are good enough for building and cleaning up model kits, and the case keeps everything organized. Definitely worth it for beginners or as a backup kit.

Your average pair of nippers is a dollar or two more, and a set of tools can be around $30. Not only are these cheaper than just the nippers, you get a full set of model tools. I found that the nippers were perfect (I've used nippers, pliers, scissors, and my nails over the years), and are essential for anyone building plastic models. The knife is a DREAM, that glides through plastic wraps, foam, and sheet plastic, while it also does a decent job on plastic racks (though is NO substitute for nippers). Not to mention its also got a sharp tip. In addition, it also came with several backup blades, not that you'd need them for awhile. The tweezers were also really useful for applying stickers. I have shaky hands, and most likely arthritis, so it was really nice to finally apply an (almost) perfect sticker. They were also good at pulling a very small piece of glass out of my foot, just in case you want to use them in an improvised first aid kit (though you should always go medical grade). I found that I didn't have much need for the files though, so I can't really give a review for them. All in all, the set is a must buy. More professional builders or "elite" hobbyists may tell you to shell out for more expensive sets, but these are much better for the price. Not just for beginners, but any model builder.

This case of tools is very complete yet compact. Has every file, clipper, or tweezer you can imagine to make a model build go as smoothly and easy as possible! MG gundam kits are notorious for being difficult to place decals and other sticky piece placement issues; this kit helps.

I use these model tools for a while now and my friends they ask me where I get them because this kit is affordable and it has everything you need to build a perfect model kit. After buying this kit don’t need to buy other parts individually which makes it and incredible purchase.
