All the Math You'll Ever Need: A Self-Teaching Guide (Wiley Self-Teaching Guides)

I used to have a previous edition of this book but lost it in a flood. I've always struggled with learning math, but this book breaks it down in a way that makes sense to me. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well. Highly recommended!

This version is all bulked up in an apparent attempt to convince more math teachers to adopt the product. It actually turned me away, preferring the slim, trim feel of the first edition. (Please see my review to the first edition.)

I'm using this book as a text to teach remedial math, prepping a 9th grade student for 10th grade math. This book has made summer school simple for student and tutor. We like the conversational tone and detailed examples followed by frequent self-tests. The index will be useful for homework help. I'll be recommending it as a supplemental tool for her and other students during the school year.
