Real tool to do the job!
I bought these to move a big, 80" wide mirror. The price may appear expensive, but one has to consider that the risk of dropping a heavy piece of glass and the damage which a broken glass door or a mirror may cause is much greater than the price of these cups. Wood is a well known and respected company in this segment of the market. One may be tempted to buy vacuum cups for $10 at Home Depot or for $3 at Harbor Freight tools, but when one looks at them side by side, there is no comparison, it is like an electrical drill versus a toy drill. Woods cups are big and solid, at least twice as big as anything that is sold at big box retail stores. Another important factor - they have a vacuum indicator built into the pump. If the cup is leaking air, you will see it as the plunger is moving upwards, and will be able to lower your load and repump the cup before it looses its grip. None of the cheap products has it. The cups make a solid impression, and are sold in yellow carrying cases for protection. One more word of caution. The manual says that it is recommended that the rubber cups (bottom of the suction cup) are replaced after 3 years. This is a thing to consider if you are looking for a used pair. I initially tried to rent such cups, with difficulty found a place which reportedly has them, drove across town, and found that they have 4 cups in stock... and 3 of them are leaking and can't be used. It tells me that they do not like abuse and neglect. Other than that, it is a great tool for the task of lifting heavy pieces of glass or mirrors. I recommend that you do not settle for anything lower grade than this.

Sucks For sure. Never dropped a tile again. Handy for adjusting placed tiles as well. Great for Glass Carrying Case keeps it dust free for next use.

Great Item
This was the second set we ordered. Both sets work perfect and will order again if we need more. Thank you.

Worked as advertised
I had to lift new shower doors weighing about 40 pounds (and will have to lift them several more times to finish the job). I was going to get an inexpensive cup at Home Depot or Harbor Freight, but the more reviews I read the more worried I became that they would fail catastrophically. When I first clamped this one on I was pretty sure it wouldn't suddenly let go, and it didn't. I think it was worth the extra cost, just for the peace of mind. It arrived promptly too.

Lifesaver!
My husband and I (both in our 70's) are replacing our home's windows by ourselves. These suction cups have been a lifesaver for ease of carrying the windows and then lifting them into place. They have been able to carry the weight of the windows with no problem.

It can make a tough job much easier and safer
I needed a way to swap out some fixed window sashes. These sashes contain impact glass which is quite heavy. Worse, the windows are supposed to be installed from the outside but that's hard to do with them about 30' in the air. So I had to do it from the inside, pushing the sash out at arm's length, rotating it 45 degrees then pulling it back in. I bought two of these because I knew that would be a nightmare. It took a bit of grunting but these made the job a ton easier. One time I accidentally squeezed the button for "releasing" the vacuum. The little red line appeared showing it wasn't safe but it still held until I could get it in a safe position to kick myself. Basically it's one of those "right tools for the job" that costs more than you think it should but in the end that makes you happy to own it.
