Q: Can be used in wet areas, kitchen sink.

Some will say no, but Yes, provided the countertop wood is well sanded and buffed, and RMC is applied properly and given sufficient time to remain dry to cure, per manuf's instructions. Keep a neat, clean sink and counter, and upkeep, and it should be fine. Much like wood furniture (the real wood kind). (Sloppy wet sinks don't go well with wood countertop.) We've got 1.5" thick butcherblock w/undermount sink.

Q: What is shelf life after mixing? Can I store it for a week?

Shelf life of the unopened product is 3 years. The product is oxidative so any exposure to oxygen will reduce shelf life. Once the 2 components are mixed, it is recommended to use within 5-6 hours. Tip, only mix as much product together as necessary for the area you are finishing. Mix 3:1 (A:B). See manufacturers website for spread rate information and how to calculate how much is needed.

Q: If used on a pine table top wood will be harder/scratch resistant?

My experience with Rubio is that it seals the wood well. Pine is an open-grained wood, so I think it would resist scratches better than unfinished, well-sanded pine.
