Okay, so let's talk about the masterpiece of engineering I just received. On paper, this is a sleek, sturdy stand that's supposed to hold my iPad and iPhone. What could go wrong, right? Well, I’ll tell you—pretty much everything, unless you like the idea of watching your tech go tumbling to the floor because your perfectly reasonable iPad or iPhone has a case on it. First, the good stuff: this stand is solid. No wobbling. It’s the equivalent of a bodybuilder in stand form. The design is minimal, chic, and promises to make your desk look like the kind of place where important things happen. It’s got a nice weight to it and feels like it could hold a whole stack of bricks, so naturally, I was expecting it to cradle my devices with the same level of care. Now, here’s the catch: it’s supposed to hold an iPad or iPhone, but only if they're naked. That's right, folks. No case allowed. Unless you're living in 2012 and trust the world with your fragile, unprotected tech, you're out of luck. My iPad, with its lovely protective case, gets stuck in the stand, like it's trapped in a relationship it didn't sign up for. I gave it a try, thinking maybe I was doing something wrong, but nope, it’s the design. It's a tragedy wrapped in aluminum. To make matters worse, there’s no disclaimer that says, "Hey, if you protect your devices, we have zero interest in helping you out." It's like buying a high-end purse only to find out it can’t hold your wallet because it's too full—of your essentials. So, while the stand might be great if you’re living on the edge with a naked phone, if you’re like the rest of humanity and want your devices in a case because, you know, they’re expensive—you’ll be watching your precious tech slide off the stand every time you try to use it. It’s like the stand has a personal vendetta against cases. In conclusion: great quality, poor design, and a reminder that we live in a world where sometimes things are made by people who clearly don’t understand the importance of a solid case. If you don’t use one, this stand is perfect for you. If you do, well… good luck.

It's a good stand. Like mentioned in other reivews, the protective plastic/rubber coating in the front slot (for phone) doesn't go all the way up. So, be sure that you put a case or skin on your phone.

Amazing build quality. Holds even one 14 inch laptop and 11 inch ipad with magic keyboard at the same time, keeping both stable.

I was really excited to receive this stand, I generally like the look and quality of SATECHI products. Unfortunately the stand does not fit the latest generation of MacBook Pro. I have a 16" 2021 M1 MacBook Pro, but sadly it did not fit.

Finally, a good quality stand. Works well for a 2019 MacBook Pro 15" and iPad Pro 11.5". The finish is smooth aluminium and closely matches Apple's space grey. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble. The best part is the rubber insert that fully overlaps the edges of the laptop tray. No chance of your laptop getting scratched, unlike many other stands. Disappointingly the rubber in the front try doesn't overlap the edge. The main issue however, is the uncoated part at the back of the front tray. If your phone or tablet doesn't have a back cover, it will likely touch the metal part of the stand on removal, and I worry this could lead to scratching over time. But if you have a case on your phone or tablet it's not an issue. Overall I'm delighted with this stand.

Man, this thing is awesome. Very sturdy and the quality is palpable. Above all else, it just does its work perfectly. We use it to stand up a Macbook Air M2 in clamshell mode, which is connected to a 27" 4K monitor (plus mouse and keyboard via bluetooth). The Macbook never falls over, and the smaller slot is great for an iPhone (if needed). Great purchase, in fact, one of my favourites of all time. You'll be so happy you've bought it.

ノートパソコンをクラムシェルの反対側に折りたたんでテント型として設置するために購入しました（好みのキーボードやディスプレイと併用しています。） この製品に重量感があるのでグラつくこともなく、パソコンと設置する部分はゴムで保護されているので、本体が金属製でも傷はつきにくいです。 Satechiなだけあって見た目も良いので、あえて目立つ使い方をしても良いと思います。 ただお値段が・・・。

Un prodotto di qualità costruttiva altissima, un design minimal che aiuta a tenere in ordine la scrivania e permette di avere a portata di mano velocemente il mio Macbook Pro m1 14”, che calza alla perfezione, ed il mio iPad pro 11”. Ha le protezioni in plastica per non graffiare i dispositivi. Consigliatissimo!
