Can you over lap this, to make it wider?

I don’t think it will have a neat finish look you may have to use an adhesive for that

Will it stick to Trex deck?

I expect it would. However, your use of Trex makes me think you’ll be using this outside. If your material is new and clean it will likely stick, but you may want to use adhesive, or nails/screws for longevity.
