The brightens of this relatively small flashlight is out of this world.You can really see the difference between a 'traditional' and an LED flashlight if you never used one before. Plus there are I think up to 5 different 'light modes' ,as in ; regular , brighter ,very bright , blinking patterns and one more.Thing is when I slapped the included Energizer batteries in ,it did not turn on no matter what I tried.I read and re-read the manual (which I already knew would be a waste of time ,especially regarding a flashlight) and still ,no-go.As a last resort I replaced the included supposedly 'new and charged' Energizer batteries with my own unopened Duracell ones and wham! It lit up like Bodily Fluid Under UV Light! ! And here I was about to send it back.So yeah,that little hiccup 'scared' me but after putting the new set of batteries in it, I'm loving it.It's very sturdy , well made and like I said very bright ,especially if you crank it all the way up.Haven't used it that much since the day I bought it (almost a year) so I don't know how many hrs can you squeeze out of it being 'on' continuously , but I do turn it on every month or so just to make sure it's still working - and it is.Great purchase if you want a very bright LED flashlight but in a small form.Highly recommend it.

It’s a great size, small and easy to carry. The light is brilliant and bright. The adjustable brightness is nice to with the two settings. And also the flashing mode. It’s really a perfect flashlight.

I purchased this to keep in my flight bag. Reliability is obviously very important for a pilot, especially in night operations. This was the second one of these I've purchased, the first from a source outside of Amazon. This unit was intermittently faulty from the beginning. Unscrewing the end cap and back on seemed to help the batteries connect and the light would work as advertised, which by the way was very bright and nice. Shortly thereafter however, no light operation at all. Rinse and repeat. The intermittent failure gradually grew to a 70%-30%, failure to operation mode respectively. Since it was an occasional use tool it's outside of Amazon's replacement window so now it's a paperweight. Because it's another item I've purchased on Amazon that seems to fail in similar ways, I will not purchase again.

As good as advertised! I have another Energizer, and this is also really good with powerful lighting. Very satisfied.

I've used it twice for a couple minutes at a time. The 2nd time I go to use it the light flickers and goes out. After shaking it a few times and taking the back off and putting it back on it works. Now it's functioning similar to a movie flashlight where I have to shake it a few times to keep it working. BRAND NEW FLASHLIGHT WHAT THE HECK. You really can't purchase anything on amazon these days unless you know for a fact it's not junk.
