Mushy peas. It sounds awful. Tried them in England. They're delicious. These are excellent.

I had been buying the brand name marrowfat peas for years but they had become very expensive and hard to find. I purchased the above to try and cooked them the way I always did soaking over night with baking soda to soften. They turned out exactly the same as the boxed product and are much more affordable.

Nice, plump and tasty. Nothing beats good old Mother Nature for a perfectly natural produc of the Earth with zero human involvement except to knock the mature fruits off the tree. This product has a beautiful flavour.

I soak these over night with baking soda then cook for 20min, makes mushy peas perfect. I followed the recipe on line. Make a lot then freeze in small dishes.

At first I thought that these peas did not look fresh but they are! They cook beautifully and they taste great.
