Bought this to add to a new high end gaming PC for bulk storage of games that don’t require an SSD. Easy to install, fast and doesn’t seem to add a lot of heat inside the case. Had to initialize it and create a partition in order for Windows 11 to use it. But nothing complicated. It’s faster than I expected with low latency.

Bought the 8TB Gaming Internal Hard Drive HDD - 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 128 MB Cache during the boxing week sales for 190 bucks total. Really good price. Took a while to ship but arrived fast after that. Arrived in an anti-static bag, with soft plastic ends on the drive to keep it up off the box it was in and give it some protection. It fit snugly in there and that box was put in an amazon bag that had small air bubbles in side for added protection.One of the plastic ends was bent a bit, but there was zero damage to the box, so could have been like that from the factory.Have had it running for a few weeks now and its running fine no clicking or anything like that. Mainly bought it for backup storage because of the 5 year warranty so hopefully this should last a long long time. If I could have bought a second one for that price I would have.
