My boy has an incomplete skin barrier which became evident at 3yo and gotten much worst from age 8. He’s presently 11y/o and has monthly visits to the vet. However since being put on Zenrelia, bathing 3-5x a wk & Welactin, etc., he’s doing much better. My boy is a very fussy eater but he considers Welactin a treat & looks forward to eating it daily. Doesn’t cause any distress.

This product is great for skin problems. Since my dog has been on these no more itching!

Great treat for our mature puppy, she loves them and it is good for her skin and painful joints.

My vet recommended Welactin for my dog's joint issues. I tried the liquid version at first, but it didn't agree with my dog's stomach. I decided to try these before giving up, and am glad that I did. My dog is pretty small, so I cut all of the "treats" in half when I first get the bag and then give him one half for every meal. I just stick it in his food and he gobbles it right up. It doesn't smell good to me, but he loves the smell!The only drawback is that the treats are very firm and large. You need a sharp knife to cut them in half, and it still takes a little force. If you give these Welactin treats to your dog with meals, you'll probably want to cut the whole bag in half at once and keep them in an airtight container so they're ready to go when you need them. And still, if your dog is pretty small, half of each Welactin treat is pretty large. While my small dog would probably swallow the entire city hole if he thought it were food, I still feel a little nervous giving him such a firm hard treat of this size. But he's been taking these for almost a year without issue, and his coat and joints have never been batter.

I don't know if these are actually doing anything, but my dog is crazy about them. I have never seen her this enthusiastic for a "treat"! Most medicinal or supplement type treats give her diarrhea, but not these. They are worth it just for that!

Vet recommended and I have a picky dog so thought she would not like them, but she does. Will eat them even when she does not finish the rest of her meal.

It worked well on the one dog that could chew it. It was too hard for the other dog to chew (same age and breed) so I had to break it up in pieces, and that was not an easy feat. These things do not come apart easily and will make you hate yourself every single day for ever choosing to buy them until they are gone. These “chews” are hard from the start upon opening the factory package. They do work really well if your dog can eat them, but so does the oil from the same company. I’ll stick with the oil. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that these chews smell absolutely horrible too.

Our vet has 17 bostons throughout her family, my boston is very sensitive to grass and recommend this product. My dog loves them and so far she's doing great
