There is nothing worse than being overwhelmed by someone’s cologne. This cologne is a great scent that won’t repel people away for being too strong. I was a little hesitant to purchase this before being able to smell it, but after testing a whole bunch of other “masculine” scents at a local place I decided to go with this because I hated all the others. I have been very pleased, and more importantly, so has my wife who also likes the scent. I docked one star because unlike some of my other scents that tend to change and “mature” slightly through the day, this one smells exactly the same from 7am to 7pm. It’s not a bad thing, but I also like the evolution of a scent through the day. It adds a touch of excitement.

TLDR, nice cologne for the price. It is definitely a musky cologne, with strong scents of wood and spice, so buyer beware if you’re not drawn to that type of scent. I do think a little goes a long way with this in particular, but YMMV based on your preferences. At this price point, it’s a solid purchase all around.

I received this package looking very poor. The scent is very nice. The box was in sorry shape and the cologne was about three quarters full. This was not new. Be careful what you buy and who the seller is on Amazon!!

For the cost, this is a great cologne. Smells spicy and woody. Longevity isn't that great but for the price, it's a nice fall/winter cologne.

Let me begin by saying that I am a huge fan of Proraso products. Their shave cream (in the tube) is by far the finest I have ever used, including Cremo of which I was a long-time user. Their eucalyptus aftershave at $14 a bottle is simply outstanding. All of that said, I am struggling to be a fan the Proraso Wood and Spice cologne. The name drew me in in that I am more of a spice fan than a citrus fan when it comes to cologne. The scent of the cologne is complex, but not what i would call "Wood and Spice", at all. Hard to describe. Plus- it is a very strong scent upon application but tends to dissipate in a shorter amount of time than other colognes I am accustomed to. If the scent of this cologne is "your thing", I'd recommend applying sparingly.

This is a nice all day scent. I like the understated aroma. You don't need to worry about overpowering people with this subtle cologne.
