This chisel worked perfectly for removing the old thinset from under my tiles during my remod. I used this chisel in my Makita rotary hammer to remove the bulk of the mortar and then went over the area with a diamond face mill attachment for my angle grinder. Worked like a charm. Prepare for the biggest mess you’ll ever clean up in your life, however. Didn’t dull or lose any performance over my whole kitchen.

Purchased this for a job and it worked great at a fraction of the price in box stores.

I used this extensively for thin set and tile removal. I just resharpened it once in a while with my grinder to keep it cutting/scraping efficiently. Its still going strong after hours of nonstop use.
