**UPDATE: I have now used this tote to travel and i LOVE it. It is a sneaky good bag as I originally stated because it just looks like a regular tote. The fabric is thick and sturdy. There is a well-lined wet pocket inside. The expandable bottom is for real, not some lame inch or two but 4-5” of area that translates into quite a bit of extra cubic space. The carrying straps held up well as they also are very sturdy . This bag is well made and I would buy several more to gift to others because it will become my “emergency” carry on from now on. This is a travel must-have.I bought this to gift last year but ended up not giving it. I realized I still had it in my stash so I took it out to gift this year and have decided again to not. This time, I think I want to keep it for myself. I have an international flight in a few days so I may use it. The quality of the straps, bag fabric and stitching are all excellent. It is a high quality bag for a steal of a price. Roomy enough for at least a 2-3 day trip (carry on only), if not more. The bottom has an expandable/collapsible section and the zipper also feel strong and high quality. There is also an included carrying, cross body strap…also strong and well-made. I can’t stress enough that the bag is sturdy while being pretty.

Now that I’ve had this about a year and a half, I can honestly say that I love this bag. It’s well made, sturdy, not heavy, expands quick and easy, holds up to being jam packed with stuff, wipes down easy and still looks great. We take many trips as a family and I use this bag for both my youngest and myself. Love that I can zip it so it’s smaller or expand to fit even all my daughter’s diapers when we’re traveling. Even used this as a hospital bag! Great bag and inexpensive.

Love, love, love this bag! I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, but at the deal price figured I would give it a try. Best travel bag purchase ever!- have used it as my “handbag” on 4 flights cross country - held my 16in laptop, chargers, water bottle, snacks, book, etc with no issues. The back pocket that fits over luggage handle is great! Kept my phone, id and CC in easy reach, no fumbling at security looking for items.It’s stylish enough to use as a large tote for long day trips and roomy enough for 3day weekends. I used it as a weekend bag for various trips and can pack a good amount of clothes, shoes, toiletries without issue (I am an overpacker so this worked out perfectly) love that the bottom unzips and expands.So far so good - excellent quality, stylish and multifunctional, from my experiences, highly recommended.

I got this bag before a trip to Europe. I wanted as big a "personal item" as possible, so was glad to find this.It's pretty lightweight but is very durable. I was able to stuff it with quite a lot of items (a change of clothes--nothing worse than arriving without your checked luggage, book, iPad mini, sweater for the flight, snacks, quart bag with liquids, etc. etc. etc.I did not need to unzip the bottom for extra space, but was glad to have that feature.I did use the snaps on the side--I guess their purpose is too make the bag look smaller?? The snaps came unsnapped right away when I used the bag straps, so that was a worthless feature. I think a loop button feature would hold better for that purpose.There are 3 pockets on the front. I had a water bottle in one (will hold a plastic 16.9 oz. bottle--probably not the wider reusable bottles, though), my book, small magazines, and such in the middle, and gum/candy in the other pouch.The best part, though, is in the back. Yes, that gap was wide enough that I could easily fit the bag onto the carry handle of my suitcases (both my smaller hardside carry on and my larger suitcase). I love that! The zipper pouch is big enough for a passport. I did have a few other flat items in it, but don't overstuff it. The passport will fit easily, but should go in first, as the outer edge with the zipper will partially cover it before you zip it closed.I noticed one reviewer complained that it didn't work with their bag--but they were using a very soft-sided bag under it. If you are going to stuff this bag, it will work best on a sturdy piece of luggage (hard or soft-side)--not a "mushier" soft bag.That said: with this bag (which was well stuffed, mind you), it did sometimes make my carry-on bag tip over if I wasn't careful, and the 4 wheels of my carryon didn't run as smoothly. I just used 2 wheels when moving at a clip, and that was fine.The bag did really well and still looks great. I had enough room under the seat to put a foot on either side of the bag (under the seat in front of me).The color I wanted (black with brown handles) came with a "wash bag" (toiletries bag). I didn't end up taking it, but I kind of wish I had. It is also really sturdy and roomy.
