I love this smart hula hoop because it is easy to use!!! I tried to use a regular hula hoop but did not have time to learn it. I found this Teal Elite Smart Weighted Hula Hoop, and it is easier to use. I just have to concentrate on the bottom parts of my body. The key points to use this smart hula hoop:1. To make easy for first time use: parallel the body and put below your waist so your concentration will be below the waist. Shoulder width apart and rock side to side.2. After you get comfortable: Probably took off one section and put right on your waist parallel to your body. You still need rock side by side, but this time, you have to connect your balance (ear drum) with the bottom of your feet left and right (or vice versa).Don't give up because I am beginner and today is the first time I ever used this. The media could not be loaded.  At first I would have given it 0 stars because it would not spin around without getting stuck and hitting me in the stomach and/or leg mid circle. At one point it came to such a sudden stop the weight came flying off of the clip(still haven't found it) Upon requesting to return for a refund I was given the option to send the defective hoop back and have a new one sent. So glad I did! It's smooth and easy to use. The fit is great, and it's easy to take on & off. If you are on the fence about it, order the hoop! You won't regret it, especially knowing if it's defective it will be replaced. It's also a great workout for having a toddler, because you put on music and they think it's dance time so they just dance instead of climbing you for the whole workout.8 months later; Edited to add: The wheels broke on it again during use. It would be great if they would figure out a way to prevent that; or at least sell a replacement weight with the wheels. 8 month life expectancy for hardcore users. While I want to be frustrated, the 76lbs I'm down is worth buying another one.

I looked at reviews for weeks and waited to see people’s results before buying. I’m glad I picked this one it’s sturdy and seems like it won’t come apart with use. There are some parts that are flimsy like the adjustable stay that adjusts the length of the strap is plastic so I worry that it won’t last, also it doesn’t stop the strap from letting itself out to full length. I have a large space so this is not a concern for me but if you lived in a small space it maybe an issue. My sons both tried it my youngest loved it but couldn’t keep it up for longer then a min. My oldest got it up to speed and kept it for 2 mins but then screamed “get it off me, get it off! How do you stop this thing” and curled into a ball on the floor for a min after 😂😂😂 but I loved it I kept it up for 15 mins right away. I had a real weighted hula hoop and I struggled to keep it up and felt like I’d been in a fight after every work out but this is much more comfortable and easy to keep up and maintain momentum. I think it would be great to work back up to a hula hoop but the weighted ones really hurt this one takes the pain down a bit. My kids both thought it was painful and annoying but honestly I found the sound satisfying and I didn’t mind the massage. I can imagine that the sound may get annoying but I love mindless low impact cardio as I love to watch tv and I have asthma so walking outside isn’t always the best option for me and I struggle to keep up with high impact exercises but I know that I could do this for thirty mins any day. I’ll keep updating after I’ve tried it for longer. Right now my waist measures 34” and I have three extra links for my hula. *UPDATE* it’s been three weeks since my last update I have l taken one link out, but I think I may have just been in between links I’ve lost about 1”-2” I’m a couple day away from my period so i might be bloaty, I usually am this time of month, but im still down 1” this week! Firstly I am so happy with the results on my mid section, my back and tummy are my struggle areas but this focuses on that area and I really see the difference. If it’s not working for you then it maybe you need to tighten it, it’s pretty tight when you first take the link out but it’s easier to keep up when it’s tighter. When it becomes more difficult then it’s probably time to take a link out! But I’m impressed with the clasps I’m not afraid that it will come apart or unlatch and I can get it going pretty fast, it is loud, but I just turn up RuPauls drag race and go. I do this like 3-5 times a week for 20-30 mins and it’s easy you don’t have to think to hard and it’s focusing on the only part I can’t seem to work the fat off! My back rolls and slimmer and my tummy is not poofing over my leggings anymore, I will be using this more. Also I had a weighted hula hoop and it was difficult to keep up momentum and beat me up! I love it and I’m so happy with my purchase honestly my whole body is looking so snatched and it’s nice that it doesn’t target my legs but they still get some work, it doesn’t target arms but I can challenge myself to keep my arms afloat the whole time to target my arms and honestly they look better! I really struggle to tone my back and tummy and this is just what I need! Plus gotta love that price compared to some others and honestly the really fancy ones don’t look better to me, maybe they are quiet but I don’t want to pay that much for quiet when I can get this for half the price!

First several times I used it, worked great. I was up to 7 minutes. Then it started getting harder to spin smoothly. I want to try putting oil in it to see if it will work ??Im dissapointed

Good value for money, smoothness was not the best, kinda loud, durable, easy to assemble.

What I like about this is it’s easy to use much easier than a regular hula hoop however it is quite loud this is not something you would want to do while people are sleeping in the morning because this is made out of plastic and as it spins around your waist it’s on little wheels and you hear that going round and round. But it is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

Love this hoop. Very easy to put on and pretty smooth to swing around. It fits me and I'm a size 18. I even removed a couple links. It does have a little timer on it, but haven't used it. The only downfall is it is difficult to remove the links and take off when you're done. Eventually it seems like it might crack because it's so stiff and hard to come apart. I've used it almost every day a little over a month now for at least 30min. It is loud to me, but it's a lot of fun and a great workout! Big positive - I already can tell my waist is slimming and my mobility/low back/sciatica actually improved! Definitely try it.Update - about 7months in and I do still love using the hoop. I sometimes do two 30min sessions a day. Only problem - it seems to be catching on these metal pieces that are sticking out at the buttons on the links and eating into the plastic as it swings around. Makes it very jerky and difficult to use, plus a bit louder as it bumps them with every turn. Plastic is starting to appear damaged and sadly some of the links are now breaking by the buttons. Would be amazing if they had a replacement policy like some hula brands for the life of the product or at least a year & the option to purchase additional links.

We all have phones and clocks for the time, so it would have been nice to know how many spins I’ve done instead.Adjustment easy but can only go down a few buckles as it won’t click back together. Nothing wrong with it, just has limited smaller size waists.

I ended up returning this item as I could not get it to work.It is difficult to put together and then when swinging the weight to start using it. The weight is so heavy that after one or two rotations it falls to your side and does not work.
