Works but incompetent internal wiring making it DANGEROUS, catastrophically failed after 10 months.
DANGEROUS!!! INCOMPETENT CONSTRUCTION !!!Works well but after 10 months the cooling fan on shaft inexplicably migrated down the shaft and hit a bolt head causing the motor to lock up. The motor has no overload protector so the winding burned up creating so much heat that it melted the label. After opening the junction box on the cord I found the SAFETY GROUNDING was purposely NOT CONNECTED!! Depending on your plumbing configuration, this is a severe electrocution and fire hazard!! Lacking a running overcurrent overload the motor winding overheating will not turn off the power resulting in the motor winding burning to the point of flames coming out of the motor opening. The only reason this stopped running eventually was the winding failed to the frame which is connected to the metal plumbing piping which is electrically grounded tripping the GFI breaker. The safety ground in the plastic junction box on the cord is purposely CUT and not connected to the motor frame!!!I am a licensed master electrician. with 45 years expwerience. Also the union has straight not tapered threads so connecting to threaded fittings on the house which are often straight also are very difficult to seal unless you also use plumbers string laid into the threads.

Value for cost
Used it to boost household water pressure, we're at sufficient 48psi.Some user problems could be constant or as called for setting. I imagine that pump never switching off can't be good. One problem was the electrical connection, the male/female prong type connector would lose contact. I just compressed female side a bit, reconnected, then positioned the dc unit so that it remained with tension as I kept a faucet running to verity added pressure coming through. Been greater since.

Pressure as stated
This pump does exactly what it advertises. It give good pressure and the on demand switch works beautifully. I will buy again when the need arises.

May be louder than expected, depends upon where you are mounting the pump in your house.
Pump was somewhat loud when mounted on the wall in my garage. I insulated the flex lines on the inlet an outlet to reduce the vibration/noise with some improvement. Then the pump started surging and then would not turn off. Suspected a failed pressure switch after about 3 days of operation. I returned for a refund and went a different route (quieter pump). It did increase the pressure and improved the home water system. When the pressure switch failed, I decided to replace with a "quieter" unit.

Poor quality
Threads are not standard. After 8 months the pump gets hot and starts to burn smelling like an electrical fire. The pump is loud when it worked and the pressure didn't improve much.

Not for the DIY'er
Just finished installing the booster pump, and unless you are an experienced plumber, you will probably not be able to connect the inlet and outlet connections of the pump and control valve to your water piping system. According to the manufacturer, the threads are 3/4" male iron pipe (MIP). This is WRONG. The threads are actually hose threads. Had to run to the big box store and get two 3/4" female hose thread (FHT) x 3/4" female iron pipe (FIP) brass adaptor; $10.00 each. After installing the adaptors on the pump and control valve (quite tight I might add) they leaked, and after tightening to the point of breaking, they still leaked.Had to remove the adaptors, and after cleaning, I fluxed the threads and screwed the adaptor to the pump connection and control valve and soldered it. Finely, the connection did not leak.Note: If you try soldering the connections on the control valve, you need to take the valve apart as the internal parts are plastic and will melt.Additionally, according to the manufacturer, the outlet on the pump I ordered was supposed to be 1" and it's not. It's 3/4" male hose thread. Was supposed to be delivered on August 2, 2022 and arrived August 8, 2022.The pump seems to be working okay, and boosts the outlet pressure about 15 PSI over the inlet pressure. The pump is a bit noisy which is not a problem for me because it is in a detached shed with my well pump. But if you locate it somewhere in your house, you will probable hear it.
