New shoes were too tight. Thin socks helped until shoes stretched out.

Perfect socks. The color is more of a dark British khaki, but will suffice if the lighter color is not available. Still searching for the color “calico”.

These are very nice socks. Good material right fit, perfect thickness and slight ribbing. They don't stay up for me so knocking one star off. They were recommended by GQ as the best socks ever, and are quite nice. Perhaps over the calf ones would stay up.

Nice socks, but beware: These are clearly not over the calf as indicated in the Amazon website, instead they are just the standard above-ankle crew length.
