Bought this as a gift for our 42-year-old daughter and she absolutely loves it. No more hand grating with the stand grater. Sooooo much easier and faster and fit the machine well. Made her wonder why she hadn't done it sooner (well, I guess because we didn't buy it for her sooner-ha ha)

I’ve had this KitchenAid mixer for six months, and it makes baking way easier. It mixes bread, cookies, and pasta dough super well with its strong motor—no lumpy stuff or endless scraping. I got the tilt-head one in white, and it looks cool on my counter. The tools (hook, whip, beater) are tough and easy to clean in the dishwasher. The bowl stays put too. It’s a bit expensive, but totally worth it—super sturdy with a good warranty. Great for anyone who bakes a lot. Love it!

Worked great but eventually the plastic broke and had to replace with a completely stainless steel one.

Grates cheese very quick and easily. This was getting to be a big problem for my arthritic hands. The only problem I have had is disengaging the blade. Cheese seems to clog up on the bottom of the blade. This makes it hard to pull out. Thank heaven for a strong husband. Easy to clean after getting apart. Love it.

I have my mom’s old KitchenAid stand mixer (like 60 years old). There’s never been an attachment on that part of the mixer. I literally had no idea how to get into it. The internet gods came to the rescue! Not believing this attachment would work on this old mixer, I ordered it anyway because I’m sick of buying ones that break within a year. Not only does it fit, I don’t see anything on the attachment that could crack under use! I love choice of chute size. The smaller is perfect for feeding carrots through and the larger handles everything else. Double pushers is brilliant! This is relatively easy to clean compared to other contraptions I’ve used. It’s easy to set up and take apart. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and hope the old mixer keeps chugging along now that it has another duty to perform.

Shredded 5lb of cheese, no problem. The only issue, and it is minor, is that sometimes chunks of cheese get wedged inside the cylinder and don't get shredded. Not a big deal to me. I will probably try freezing my cheese for a short time prior to shredding to see if that helps. The parts appear to be well made. I was willing to spend the extra money for a name brand attachment, and I'm happy I did.
