Easy to Use
I purchased this to make noodles from raw vegetables. It’s made meal preparation so much easier. It’s easy to use, clean and store. If you want something that cuts down on meal prep time then this is your product. It’s been about six months since I purchased this. It’s durable and cuts well.

Great kitchen tool at a reasonable price
I love this electric spiralizer! So much better than a manual machine. I bought this specifically because I used to have a manual machine that suctioned to the counter and spiraled the veggies horizontally. I hated it because the suction never worked and the machine would be moving all over the counter to get the veggies cut. And it was really difficult to manually stabilize the machine while trying to manually cut the veggies. But ALL those issues are gone with this spiralizer. It's electric. It cuts vertically instead of horizontally. It's really easy to use and easy to clean. PLUS, it comes with a cup that the cut veggies fall into, so the counter stays clean and it's easy to see how many veggies you have. I love everything about it. It's not too loud and it comes with three styles of cutter for three types of veggie "noodles." My only complaint is that the way it cuts, it leaves a cone of veggie each time... this is so the metal of the holder (which you spear the veggie onto) doesn't touch the metal of the cutting blades. I just don't like that there's extra knife work for me if I want to use the whole zucchini or squash. Overall... love! Plus, great price.

I use this appliance to make Zoodles
I have literally only used this appliance to make Zoodles. It does this job perfectly. There are two other spiralizer attachments which I will probably never use. Cleanup is easy in theory. However, if you put the parts that can go into the dishwasher into the dishwasher, they will probably end up with soap scum on them and you will need to hand wash them after. It is best to hand wash and use the scrubbing brush that comes in the box. I like the built-in safety function. It will not operate unless the plastic feed tube is attached and locked into place. If you are looking for an easy way to create Zoodles, I would highly recommend this model. Pro tip: Cut off the stem and pierce the zucchini with the provided food pusher on that side. Then insert the other side of the zucchini into the apparatus.

Not Good for Much Besides Zucchini
This does a beautiful job of making "zoodles", but honestly my intention in buying a spiralizer was to make all kinds of vegetable noodles. I attempted a butternut squash and it was a huge hassle trying to push it through (the squash was cut down to size for the chute; the blades just weren't sharp enough to slice through the "meat") and the spirals didn't come out clean. I would assume, then, that a sweet potato would also be too hard of a vegetable for the blades too; I'm not keen on attempting it since the squash was such a mess. It totally mangled the bell pepper I tried to feed through as well. Like I said, gorgeous zucchini spirals though. Looks like others have had luck with carrots. I also think the ribbon blade cuts too thick, but I suppose that's just preference. It's neither easy or difficult to clean. Anyway, if you had dreams of spiralizing just about any vegetable you could think of, this is not your machine; get a $15 crank spiralizer.

The Best Yet
I've had many of these over the years and I always end up donating them. The non-electric ones often use suction cups to hold it in place. So I have to crank or spin AND hold the unit in place. With this unit, however, everything just works. It's small. It's fast. It does a great job without moving. just feed the vegetables slowly, that's normal. It has a small footprint. All the parts store inside the canister. I love it. As I wrote, it's the best one yet after having tests tons of them. Size, ease of operation, storage, all great. Amazon did a great job, as usual, getting it to me. It's been a great company to do business with for many years, and NO, I am not employed by them. I don't even know anyone who is, nor do I own their stock. I don't even know if they're traded. But Amazon clearly values competence and efficiency above all else. That makes happy (return/repeat) customers like me. So there.

Love this machine…
Love this spiralizer! Way too many attachments for my needs. But I’ll keep the one for making spaghetti as it does it perfect.

Hamilton Beach Noodle Fun
*Update 2 - I am really enjoying the Hamilton Beach Spiralizer. The more I play with it, the more I love it. I recently made hash browns. I spiralized 2 russet potatoes, added a little oil and seasoning and baked at 425 for 15 minutes - delicious. I also made a yummy noodle salad of zucchini, peppers, onions and carrots. We are eating a lot more veggies. I am enjoying it so much, I’m upgrading my review to 5 stars. *Update - I made sweet potato egg nests. The sweet potato had to be cut to fit the spiralizer but the strands came out beautifully. The egg nests were delicious.* I tried several electric spiralizer before getting this one. An attachment for my famous brand mixer - was a pain to use. Another electric spiralizer had a cheap feel to it and didn’t work that well. This one works but with caveats. If you like zoodles and want to spiralize them yourself, you will enjoy the ease of making them with this Hamilton Beach Spiralizer. It does spiralize zucchini perfectly. But it did not work well on apples or onions. Some folks have marked it down for only having 3 cones. The booklet shows 4 cones but this unit the 3 in 1 only has 3. There was a unit that came with 4 that was exclusive to a major retailer that has since gone out of business. This unit has 3 noodle cones. The noodle cones are different in size but there is not a major difference. I would have preferred a slim and wider noodle. The product description says it makes curly fries. While I did get it to spiralize a potato, the noodles from either of the noodle shaped cones were too thin for French fries unless you like really thin, crispy fries. It did a great job of making ribbons from a cucumber which I used in a salad. The ribbons were long so next time I will cut them in half. I still have some playing with it to do. But I am disappointed in the no curly fries or apple ribbons. So I will have to decide if the zucchini and other fruit and veggie items that can be spiralized with it are worth it.
