Well worth the money! These are an inexpensive but excellent pair of speakers.
I've been rocking a pair of Creative speakers for the best part of 20 years, but I need something less tuned for gaming and music playback (e.g bass and treble heavy) these days but really can't afford to shell out a few hundred quid on a pair of pro monitors.Firstly, they come with all cables needed to plug into a PC and go, which is great. Secondly, and most importantly, they sound great! Highs and lows can be tuned to your preference (I turned the bass down a little and treble up a little) to suit my preferred levels and within a minute I had them sounding exactly as I wanted them to. Even podcasts sound better. As desktop PC speakers they are more than loud enough and there's no hiss, no electronic noise in the background and I really wish I'd bought these sooner. Absolutely delighted with this purchase. Read some reviews claiming these lack bass... no, they don't!

What a surprise?
For the price they are excellent, have tried 3 different makes and none match these M-Audio BX-3 range. I opted for the BX-3 because of size and output for a medium sized room and for price and performance I can't believe how good they sound. I hooked these speakers up to a Mac using bluetooth and DJ system to (with cables) to compare sound quality and was 'NOT' disappointed.Bass tones and hi-trebles are as good as any of the more expensive 'famous brands'.Multiple connections on the front include on/off with volume, aux and headphone controls are also on the front (saves moving speaker or reaching behind to change settings etc). These are solid (heavy) speakers that don't disappoint...

Read this before you buy
First of all (as pointed out in other reviews) these speakers DO NOT output 120 watts (as stated on the box). On the very last page of the user guide it quite clearly states that these are 2 x 25 watt (RMS) speakers with a total peak of 120 watts. This means that the speakers will take short bursts of up to 120 watts without blowing the cones out! This depends on what is put through them. Also, only 1 speaker is powered (has an amp inside with controls and input sockets), the other is just a speaker in a cab.The sound quality is very good for the size of the actual speakers, although this may change if operated at full volume. I was impressed with the bass response and the built quality is also very good.Inputs include standard 'guitar lead' type sockets (left and right), RCA sockets (left and right), a 3.5mm AUX input socket and a headphone output socket. Also there are low and high frequency EQ cut/boost knobs.A selection of speaker connection leads and a mains lead are included and also some felt pads that can be attached to the bottom of each speaker. Finally, I would like to thank Amazon for prompt delivery. I bought these 'Like New' (at a discount) from the Amazon warehouse and when unboxed I could not tell them apart from a brand new pair.I happy with my purchase although these speakers are not as loud as I expected.

Big sound tiny package tiny price
Not a bad sound for the size and price, was hoping for a little more in the high range sparkle but for the price they will do, purchased to use with my numark mixtrack pro FX but got them hooked up to my Alexa echo so have nice stereo sound, work perfectly for this with the supplied leads, will look at bigger speakers like the pioneer DJ 50 for the controller now instead

Great Speakers.
Great speakers and looks good on my new computer desk. Purchased to play my acoustic and electric guitars using an effects processor rather than amp of which I've recently sold. Can get quite loud which I like through my headphones. Plenty of connections at the rear and has an aux and headphone outlet at the front. Very pleased with these speakers, not really into questioning the highs, lows, mids, and all that nonsense, as long as they sound good that's all that matters. For the ordinary guy in the street these are more than adequate, and comes highly recommended.

Compact Home Studio Monitors BX3
Well made. Solid. Roughly 15cm square and 20cm tall. All synthetic material but good quality.Sound?Great for £80 approx. You can adjust the bass and treble on the back of the powered speaker and those controls are very responsive. Brilliant high frequency response and good midrange. Acceptable bass, which is unsurprisingly not floor shaking but it is there and is smooth and refined. These are not pro studio monitors but are great for home use. They are very detailed, especially upper mids to high frequencies. I like them for vocals and guitar.Recommended. Great value.

Quality, Value, EU Plug
Love them. Big step up from my old ones. Crisp sound, solid but not exaggerated bass. I have them on their sides and they sound great. Watch out for the power cable mine was supplied as a European one. Amazon bunged me a couple of quid and I bought a quality UK plug cable

Woah!!
I got them because i had a lack of space around my current desktop gaming pc and was previously using a minisystem plus speakers. I though i'd give these a go simply for the fact that they are a lower footprint on my workspace. ..Oh my god..the sounds is SO much better and i hardly need to turn the volume knob up at all!! It starts low at 6 oclock.. I have only turned it to 7 maybe 8 oclock and the sound is what i would normally have on my minisystem but my minisystem would nearly be maxed out!! Lots of headroom if i wanted to annoy the neighbours.Nice and clean look and very easy to install.I am not into mixing music so i wouldnt know how they react, they do have a seperate low end dial and a high end dial on the back, so can be adjusted manually.I personally Would definately reccomend them to a non recording/Gaming studio setup.
